Just wanted to say hello and send hugs. You absolutely POSITIVELY did the right thing.
For those of us with BP...su thoughts and ideation can come on SO QUICKLY and sometimes we have no control over them.
Mary needs a good week in the hospital as an inpatient to get stabilized. I know she doesn't want it...I didn't either, but I HAD to try to get better. Its taken 5 years, and more than one i/p stay. BP is so hard to treat, but it can be done. I wish Mary had a good pdoc.
Her T should be fired at the least, if she did indeed say that to her.
MARY: If you read this...PLEASE consider the hospital.
There isn't much more you can do, and it will GET SO MUCH WORSE for you if left untreated.
Hugs and Love to you both!!!
Keli

Hey Keli, thanks again for your kind words, your such a sweet person!!! I agree, Mary needs to be treated inpatient, and for her kids sake I really wish she would, but it doesnt look like it will go that way..
How are you??

Hey Marsh!!!
I'm okay. Well, sort of okay. LOL. I have bronchitis/walking pneumonia...been coughing like crazy for 3 weeks, and finally went to the GP yesterday. Got amoxicillin and its now making me VERY nauseated. UGH UGH UGH.
But otherwise, I'm hanging in there. The usual money problems, as in I just got paid yesterday and I'm now broke, and I still haven't paid my utility bill. ACK!
I don't know if you can relate, but that bites, ya know??? Oh yeah...forgot all about the weight thing!!! Gained 10 pounds too. Gotta love that.
It could be worse. Much worse. I have a roof over my head, a car to drive, and job to go to. My kid is healthy, other than a bit Bipolar, lol, and I have food to eat, such as it is sometimes. So, yeah...I'm poor, but it could be much worse.
I try to stay optimistic, but it doesn't always work.
How are you doing? How's your dd?
hey Keli-- i know EXACTLY how you feel about the money thing. I just paid my lot rent for the month of OCTOBER-- yikes. I hate it when bills are late, and like u as soon as i get my paycheck its GONE.
So sorry about you being sick!! It is definitly going around!! One of my good friends that I work with has the same thing- broch/walking pnem!! I hope yours gets better soon. Oh yes,, weight gain. Gotta love that. Hell, Im sure noone who doesnt know me would even know i have an ED!! (B).
Rylee is doing ok--- teething like mad , but for now her tummy is acting better (the teething was making her vomit/diarehha, just plain miserable!)

Hey hon!!! Yeah, that's pretty funny for me too...who would even BEGIN to think I have an ED at this point in my life...but its still there! I'm up to a size 16, OMG. But I'm trying again, the right way this time...its not easy.
I'm glad Rylee is feeling better.
As for money...omg again! I got groceries last night...paid TWO months rent $725 each, with a late fee...three cell phone bills...CAR PAYMENT...and I now have $7 LEFT, for a month.
Oh well...I keep thinking to myself that it could be worse, it could be worse, it could be worse.
My son is almost 16. He's also BP, but not medicated. His personal choice. He and I knock heads ALL the time. But I'm trying to not let HIM trigger me. Doing more ignoring him, whenI can. He's very insistent. Kids, fun fun fun...
How are you today?
HMMM what a coincidence!! I was just complaining to Mo a couple of weeks ago that im a size 16 also!! Isnt it FUN???!!! ha.
Ah yes... late fees.. I see them all the time, lol . Its a constant struggle to get the bill paid , let alone get the bills paid ON TIME!!!
Rylee was up at 3 this morning, blehhh... she acted like she had a bad dream and would not go back to sleep, so i put her in my bed (something i never do) and she still wouldnt sleep, so im TIRED.. lol. Hey can i get ur email addy? I think it would be fun to email ya instead of having to post to ya on the board all the time!

k.
Hey Keli I am doing much better and I read your post about me going into the hospital and to be honest with you our hospitals here are a flippin joke, they are in it for only the money they keep you in there until insurance wont pay anymore then say ok your good now, and plus my DH would have to take time off of work and we cant afford that, so I am going to give Risperdal 6 weeks and if I dont see an improvement in my moods then I am going to go to a Pdoc, but I dont have much faith in the ones that we have here.
Mary
Mary!!!
HEY!!! I'm so glad to hear you sounding better. I LOVED Risperdal...give it a GOOD chance...it helped me a lot, along with Lithium and Lexapro.
I'm going to email you through your profile!!!
Love and Hugs,
Keli
