tonight while at the grocery store, i saw one of my favorite treats it's the cheese with the nacho's i love that stuff but with crohn's disease i can't usually eat it because it will cause problems. well i had to get it. then i saw the hot chocolate with the marshmellows. then i saw the cookies that the little one (K) that i watch likes and then i walked past the bakery and i got a blueberry muffin and a pumpkin muffin we don't have to go anywhere tomorrow unless i decide to go to the gym in the afternoon to go swimming. so i've decided that K and I are going to have a lazy cartoon junkfood eating day and sit infront of the tv in our jammies and just pig out! but we have to make sure all the "evidence" is cleaned up by 2:30 when my dd's get home from school.

boy it felt good planning that lazy day and i can't wait for K to come tomorrow morning I told her mommy to just bring her in her jammies as we are haivng a lazy junk food day. I have clothes here for her so mommy doesn't even need to bring clothes. I'm really looking forward to this. i miss those lazy days with my kids.

Well yesterday she wanted to go to her friends house (it's actually a friend of my sil's and my dd was their nanny for the summer) she is a extremly good artest and she is painting the playroom in a nemo theme. So I told her I would let her go if she compromised with me and went to the therapy session with me. she REALLY didn't want to go. bug with my dh talking to her on the phone she finally agreed to go. we got a lot of stuff ironed out and we need to go together again. I hope she makes the decision to go again on her own. I told her if shewanted to see the therapist on her own that was ok too.

So i took her to her friends house and she is there now doing the painting. I dropped in to take her some lunch and looked at the painting she was doing and i'm amazed at how well she can draw and paint. She already has 5 jobs lined up for people who want her to paint for them. she is happy about it and it is bring back her self esteem. we get the results back on monday. only the behavior changes have alerted me to it. She was on oxycotton and oxycodone when she had majour back surgery and neck curgery and we were very careful to controlt he meds and she only got them when i got them out of the box locked with a key.

I would just feel better if she was checked for my peace of mind.

Yes my dd is an artest. her stores, poems and drawings are amazing. I went to the house saturday and she is working on the Nemo theme in the lady's playroom. She had the big turtle finished and was painting the stream behind it with some smaller turtles she had Bruce sketched on the wall and Dorie along with some others. She started the big coral reaf where Nemo lives and it is beautiful. I think she is going back again this weekend to do some more painting.

She actually has about 4 more jobs lined up to do. i'll have to take a picture when she is finished and post it. She is very very talented.

She wrote a poem about her grandfather after he died that just brings tears to your eyes. i'll hve to get it from her my space site and write it here.

That would be so cool if your dd was willing to allow you to post her poem/artwork--I'd love to see it! Hugs, Lori

I like to draw and paint too but I'm not very great at it. I like to use colored pencils. The way this is turning out we can open a board art gallery. :)

Kay Jameson (sp?) has written a book about creativity and manic-depression (which I have). I like art, music and photography. The only good piece of art I did was a sketch of a photograph by Leonard Nimoy in the dance nudes series. I can't really draw anything on my own but I can copy okay.
