Oh Allie I know your pain and crying at work and the frustration. The only thing I can tell you is that this is a great place to vent and you will be supported and not judged. It is rough out there but we are here for you and understand what you are going through and care. Im sorry you had such a bad day. Hopefully you can relax a little this weekend. Hugs Jessica
I'm sure that with your experience, you can get a job at a better company with less overtime. I know overtime is everywhere now, but some places are worse than others. Are you job hunting?
Since you could work 24 hours days and still not get it all done, why work so much when they'll never be satisifed anyway? Really if they won't be happy no matter what you do, why not go home on time?
You could list all the things you do in a day, and how much time it all takes, to cover yourself. You could complain to the board of labor.
I totally understand your situation because I've worked for companies like that and my parents still do, and my friend does. I don't think it's worth it to work that much when the companies don't really appreciate it! And even though everyone is afraid that all jobs are like that, they're not- you just have to keep looking until you find the good one.
Remember you also have DH and if worse comes to worse he can look for a job with insurance. There are options, and you're not in this alone.
Sorry to hear that you are having such a rough time. I am in the same boat as you sorta. I am getting flak from my boss. To the point that I have suffered one too many panic attacks at work. I make good money and hate to quit my job so my doctor put me on FMLA for 12 weeks. 12 weeks of not having to go to work and face all that stress has been a blessing. Maybe that is something you should think about doing. You don't have to take the full 12 weeks but with FMLA you are protected from not loosing your job. Taking time off may help you relax and unwind. If you are not there to do the work then someone else will and maybe at that point they will realize just how much you have on your plate.

I'm sorry to hear of your bad day and week. I hope you were able to find some peace in your life at some point in the last couple weeks.
Congratulations on your promotion, but I'm sorry that it has created such a stressful environment for you.
It doesn't same right that you should have to give up your life outside work. Everyone needs to get away, especially people in such a tough situation.
Let me know how things progress.
