Is it possible that the eggs you buy at the grocery store could have something nasty in them?

I am curious to know. I don't eat eggs, but occasionally, I bake with them.

The only danger that's proven is salmonella, which is taken care of since baked goods are cooked. The egg pasically needs to be mishandled or stored incorrectly, too, for there to be a problem, as I understand. There may be traces of any hormones or whatever the chicken was fed... but if you buy organic eggs they should be free of those.


I basically only eat eggs in baked goods, and than mainly because the problem of making breads, cakes, pastas,
