I eat it too and i still consider myself vegan although a lot of people would disagree with me. I dont eat large quanities of it but if it's in a baked good or cereal I dont avoid it eaither.
i'm with you on this one too, but its really up to the vegan. my DH won't eat it, but i will. i have a friend who has his own little bee farm (mainly for his personal consumption) and he gets a very small amount of honey every year, and he'll give me some of it.
personally i think its ethical, and its a healthier sweetner than any processed suger out there. but thats JMO, and i'm sure others disagree ;)
plus i've come to the decision that i hate bees anyway LOL. hate em hate em hate em. if they weren't so important to our ecosystem i would have no problem if i never saw another bee again. so i'm gonna eat that honey darn it!! LOL (i am just foolin around, sort of...i'm actually terrified of bees)
