I am in the process of creating a website for our message board and need additions to it :) If anyone has any ideas please let me know! If you would like to add something of your own to it that would be awesome too...a photo of you, your family, you pet, nature or anything , a poem, favorite websites, recipies...ANYTHING, please let me know :) Thank you so much!!

how about a recipes section, or a section that helps people starting out make sure taht they're getting enough of what they need to be a healthy vegetarian or vegan. (sort of a reference list)?
or maybe a list of companies that are animal friendly? (you can get a pretty good comilation at the PETA website)
AWESOME ideas, thanks!!
Thanks :)
i like it! did you check out the compassionate consumer stuff on teh PETA site? it has two lists, companies taht do test on animals, and compnies that don't test on animals. i've found that i continually have to go back and forth to check them because i just can't remember which companies are on what list LOL. although taht may be on the "peta2" site. which is geared more towards kids really. i post on the messageboards there sometimes, but its kind of hard because they're all teenagers. (almost all of them are).
tahts why i'm glad i found this board!
and i have a few free minutes so i'll look around for some healthy veggy living sites.
heres a board with a bunch of websites on them from peta (you may have already found these though)

this site gives some references as to why becoming a veghead is healthier for you (might be interesting to take a look)

I just began using the USDA's food tracker, at www.mypyramid.gov. Basically you tell them what you ate that day, and they compute how you did based on the food pyramid. You can see which groups you did great on (you get a smiley face), where you did well (a neutral face) and where you fell short (sad face). Because I get much of my protien from dairy I often get sad faces on meat and beans, but you can also get a rundown of aproximately (you don't get to say the exact brand of whatever you ate, so it's an estimate) how you did on all the nutrients, including protien. And you put in your gender,
