I really thought my meat-and-potatoes SO was dealing with my vegetarianism better. Standing in front of a display of frozen pizza, he picked a half pepperoni/half cheese pizza (and then proudly crowed about thinking of me lol), but then I wrote down "bean & cheese burritos" on a shopping list he was taking to work with him (he works at walmart ewww) and he comes home with beef and bean burritos. At least he didn't complain about me wanting to go to the vegan cooking class at the SDA church.
on a side note... I got to have a long talk with one of the teachers about B12, which was good. When my dad (in school to be a fitness instructor) found out I was vegetarian, and slowly becoming strict vegan, he got out on of his school books which went on and on about how serious it is not to get "enough" B12 and that many vegetarians, especially strict vegans, don't get enough. However, the teacher showed me articles where "they" said scientists don't know how much B12 we really need, that it stays in the body a long time so it would take awhile before our body could use up all we have.
