QOTW- food smells you can't stand

Are there certain food smells you can't stand, whether from vegetarian or meat dishes?

My dh doesn't care for vegetables in general, has a list of maybe 5 vegetables he likes/can stand. Brocoli isn't on that list lol. He sometimes gripes when I make brocoli for myself, which I absolutely love, saying that it smells bad.

I can't stand the smell of coconut, probobly because I don't like it. I also do not like watermelon and did not like the smell. However we now have 2 boys who love all kinds of melon, so I've gotten used to the smell since I've had to cut it up so often.

I agree on coconut, tho it's strange... I like coconut-flavored things, but I can't stand the smell or the texture of coconut

Spam! Yuck, just the thought turns my stomach! The smell of raw meat in the grocery store, if it is being cut/packaged is gross too, as well as raw fish. Tracie

I totally agree on spam. I had a relative, forget if it was an aunt or uncle or both lol, who loved spam and their house always reeked of fried spam.

Uck I agree on bacon greese, well any greese really. My roommate tends to pour off hamburger greese into an empty tin can and keep it, tho I'm not sure for what because he never reuses it like my mil does. It seems at least once every few months I manage to knock that can over and then the smell of the rancid greese just fills the kitchen bleah

I'm getting really sensitive to the cooking smells of certain meats. beef is the only meat my dh can eat (allergic to all the rest) and thankfully I can still stand it since I do all the cooking in the house, but I can't stand the smell of cooking chicken for one (maybe it's because that's the meat he's most allergic to lol)

mushrooms in general I can't stand. the smell of, the texture, the sight.
