children never walk

they run,

giggling happy

having fun!!

as they grow they

learn to skip,

feet are flyiing

from heel to tip!

older kids just

shuffle by,

never minding

shoes united!!

young adults

pick up the pace,

walking as if

in a race!!!

middle years

slows us a bit,

looking for a

bench to sit!!

old age is here

theres little pep,

leisurely walking

step by step!!
