The 7-day diet that lasted 6 days...

Well, the detox diet is over. I guess I'm as pure as I'll ever be. It was supposed to end tomorrow but I'd had enough today. I missed one pharmaceutical luncheon Tuesday. There was another today and the lady that cooked for it fixed that spinach, cheese and phyllo dough stuff. I couldn't pass that up. I resolved to maintain good habits and just have a little bit with a lot of salad...which I did...three times. Okay, so I have no will power. As far as the diet...well, it was interesting. I lost some weight but otherwise don't really feel much different. It does make the things you eat afterwards taste REALLY, REALLY good. And aside from my little bout with gluttony today, I think I shall be able to go for a while easting less and more carefully. Now, if I can jsut keep the weight I lost off, I will be a happy person.

It's late and I'm pretty tired. Off to the bathtub, then to bed. Good thing it's the end of the week!

Take care, Everyone.

I'm blinded by the light, Kat! You're pure as the driven snow!! Well, maybe not quite that pure! LOL! You lasted about six days longer than I would have, girlfriend! Kudos to you!

Have a great holiday weekend, and be sure to enjoy a few Easter goodies like chocolate eggs, etc! Don't want you to fade away on us!

Hugs, Pam

Kat,

No will power??? I beg to disagree. You lasted 6 days on that diet! I'm sure that I could not have tolerated it that long!! By the way, how much weight did you lose?

Hope you have a nice Easter weekend!

Hugs,

Sooze

I agree with the others, Kat! I would call your experiment a success even shy one day! I commend you for trying something good for yourself, even though the thought of that veggie water just gags me! LOL! Gotta hand it to ya!

Sooze, I lost 6# and when I weighed on Friday after my Thursday binge, I'd gained 1# back. I have a feeling I'm not on my way to becoming slim and sveldt yet!
