How is everyone?

I am well considering I just worked two

difficult days at work! Yesterday, we (two nurses including

myself) had to move 12 patients off of one unit that

they wanted to close due to lack of staff on the nightshift.

The patients had to move to other units or go home if they

were due for discharge, etc.

Whew! We did get some help to move them. Then, at 4 p.m., I went

to the Psych unit to spend the last 3 hrs. of the shift!

I spent the last hr. listening to out of tune gospel songs

sung without benefit of a radio for background

while watching (one on one) a person who might harm herself.

Actually, the out of tune gospel was sort of charming...even

if I think she made up some words!! Once she said Jesus was a

thief in the night over and over for a few chorus verses.

...I don't think she realized the implication....hahaha...???

My inlaws are interesting in moving up north to NY again from NC, so we

have been busy looking at houses. We have at least a couple more to look

at in the coming week! We want a two family or mother daughter with all

the trimmings...a pool and a couple guest rooms for friends!! :))

Have a great day everyone!

LOVE & HUGS! Sara

Good morning to you, Miss Sara! Sounds like you've had an exhausting couple of days at work. Time for some R&R, girl! Hope you have a nice calm weekend planned!

Ok, your in-laws are moving back to NY, are you all going to get a house together? That's the ideal situation, you're lucky to have in-laws you get along with! Good luck on the house hunt! We'll all come for a pool party!!! :D

That sounds tiring, Sara...Hope you have some time to rest and relax. Take care of yourself too! Sounds interesting getting a house with your in-laws..I could live with my mil(not fil) He was a pickle! And as far as my folks go...kinds iffy...would need lots of separate space. Good Luck...Hope you find the perfect house!

Enjoy your Easter

Sara,

Nurses work so hard!! Take care of yourself!! Now, I'm into more tradition church music and not so much gospel, but "Jesus as a thief in the night"???? LOL!!!!

I hope you discover the perfect house and have a joyous Easter weekend!

Hugs,

Sooze

HI Sara

Wow sounds like a lot of hard work moving those patients. Well I guess three hours in the psych ward would not be too bad.

Good luck in the house hunting. Hope you find just the perfect place.

Love ya

Hope you find the perfect house! I can't imagine working in the Psyche ward for too long, hope you don't have to do it very often, so sad really, isn't it? Gabby

Hard work and oh so underpaid. That is the position you have picked for your work. I just know our Sara is the best nurse, I congratulate you for all the hard work you did to get where you are.

Hope the house finding goes well and doesn't take too long. BIG HUGS. ..Free

LOL, Sarah...when you said you spent the last three hours in the Psych ward, I wasn't sure at first whether that was as a nurse or as a patient!

Thanks all and Happy Easter!

They gave me the day OFF since the patient

census was low enough! YEAH! :)))

Decided not to buy another house just yet.

Will wait a year or two (always changing our minds!)

...make some improvements here on this house. We still love

this house! :) And then when Ron's parents are ready to

come up, we will look again.

As for the gospel...I don't sing gospel...but that

lady sure was entertaining, whether singing was a strength

of hers' or NOT! LOL!

Hugs, Sara
