Ok, here is the situation. I found out recently that son's gf is purposely destroying her childrens clothes that I bought them.

She's said there is no money for clothes for the kids. Or if there is, will wait for rummage sales. The problem with that is children keep growing, they don't wait. Now, I like getting them things (their mom says what I buy is to nice for the girl though fine for the boy). Plus, I have the time to check sales inorder to save money. She mostly has ruined the girls clothes then blames it on her daughter. Like I said, found out thats not the case.

I am considering having the children keep all the clothes I buy them down here. Any other suggestions?

Even, kind of understand why she does it...jealousy. In my mind though....Grow Up! Did I mention, she has started buying clothes for herself, identical to what I wear. I've heard "imatation is the sincerest form of flattery". Bite me! LOL

Proud to say those kids have changed since being here. Not sick as much. Victoria's hair is no longer wispy thin and falling out. Hard to believe how much they have grown also. No longer skinny little things but filled out and rosy cheeked. Yes, I do think I had a bit to do with that.

Rain I would keep those clothes at your house or they will never have nice clothes to wear at all.

Rain, let me think about that one, but for now keep the clothes

near you when the kids aren't wearing them.

Rain, I think keeping the clothes at your place is probably the best idea. Does this girl have a mental problem? Not being nasty here, but people don't normally do that kind of thing. I was always tickled to death when my mom bought things for my kids! Darn kids' clothes cost as much as "adult" clothes! And they're so much smaller!!! LOL!

I guess I missed something here, whose kids are at your house? Whoever they are, sounds like they are very lucky to be with you!

I think it is a good idea, Rain, to keep their things there. There's certainly no point in giving them things that are just going to be deliberately ruined. And it will give them another reason to look forwrad to coming there. Sounds like you're doing a really great job there although it must be taking a toll on you. Take care.

I almost want to say print this letter you sent to the chat and let her

read it and all the answers then explain herself but that is probably

just mean. I would definately keep them at your house and believe me

I would save yourself $$$ by going to thrift shops, Salvation Army, etc.

They have great stuff and because as you say the kids do grow will

allow you to get more things plus even toys and things they can enjoy

at your house too. Girlfriend needs to explain herself and also get

some help. Maybe if you buy her something new too she will change her

attitude. Keep your chin up, you are NOT doing anything wrong.

Hugs,

Carolyn

Rain you said it, she's jealous. Keep the kids clothes at your house and keep doing things the way you have been. Obviously the kids are thriving under your care. Hugs, Bern
