I have always been one to come up with these off the wall questions. When I was working, we would have a ball with them. lol.

I didn't expect the responses that I got, and to get water does give a person a reason to disappear for a min or so to regroup.

The boiling water, so I have heard, is something for the man to do to keep him from underfoot while the real stuff is going on...lol.

What puzzled me for a long time is why, if you have a fly in your car, doesn't he crash into the windshield. The fly is in mid air, and the car is going 50 mph. If he was on the outside....splat!!! LOL. It has to do with molecules or something.

Have a nice day all, Hugs, T

Okay...re the fly and why he doesn't go splat inside your car...same reason you don't! He's riding with you inside the car. If he's a really dumb fly, he might. lol Outside the car, your car is more running into him then visa versa after all generally you are driving faster than that fly can fly. And about the cupa tea or water. One way to calm someone is to have them do something that is very common place-something very normal. Also harder to cry when you're drinking a glass of water and boy howdy most police would rather deal with anything else before a crying person.Hugs, BB
