Thursday, just two weeks before the end of the school year. I bet her teachers will love that! The poor kid, her only consolation is that next year HAS to be better! So many things are up in the air, will she be able to go to Vegas? Will she graduate on time next year? Should I make arrangements for her "senior" pictures? Mikeyyyyyy!!! Need some heavenly help here!!! I took some comfort from Sooze's post about her ds, how he goofed off in high school and really blossomed in college. If we can just get dd through one more year and she buckles down, gets the GPA up and gets into college, I really believe she'll do very well. Just have to get there!!

Couldn't get to sleep last night, tossed for two hours and finally got up, made some coffee and played a little MahJongg. That's unusual for me, I usually die as soon as my head hits the pillow! Might have something to do with the two hour nap I took before dinner! :)

I'm off to do some vacuuming before work, hope you all have a wonderful day!!

Hugs, Pam

Poor DD! I'm sure with this crappy year behind her she will do just fine next year and be back on track! Do you think she'll still have to do summer school?

Pam I am so sorry that DD has to have the surgery again but I sure hope this time that is stays gone. Having a teen is so difficult and living through those trying times with them can make a mother completely nuts. You hang in there Pam this too will pass and you can do it girl

Love ya

Mary

Pam, I was gone for a few days and must have missed your post about dd's surgery. Is this for the same problem (her behind?). Gosh that would be awful. Hope all goes well when she does got thru it. Hard for me to tell you not to worry too much about dd when I'm constantly worried about my ds's grades. They're definitely passing, but mid-quarters showed a slide and I'm trying to push him to get them back up to where they were last quarter, seems like it's a never ending battle. I'm sure she'll do fine, she's had a very tough year and with prayers and a little prodding, she'll do better next year. Charlie.

Ah Pam I am so sorry to hear she has to have surgery again, and wish the timing could be better. I am sure that the teachers will have to learn to understand that this is not something she chose.. that it is someting that just has to be!

I am sure that next year things will have settled down for her some and she will be back on track!

I love the game Mahjong, I play that when I need a break from things too.

Hope you have a great day! Hugs, Lor

Pam I would not worry about your dd. Kids seem to buckle down when they reach 11th and 12th grade and she did experience a tremendous emotional trauma with Mike's death.

I bet next year will be her best ever. If she can't make it to vegas she will make the next gathering. The main thing is getting her back on her feet and totally healed. After she ahs the surgery try giving her Rescue Remedy to help get her over the initial trauma from surgery. Applying Calendula ointment to the site will help ward off infection too. Hugs, Bern
