We had the handy-man here to decide best way to install the new whirlpool tub, he found a leak under the kitchen, no time to fix, so I called the plumber. The plumber fixed the leak but found what terrible shape our pipes were in. So we decideed to have a repipe done before putting in the new tub. Today is the 4th day of repiping. Plus we decided to have the plumbers do the new tub as long as they're here and the handy-man can do the electrical. So I have had very nice but VERY dirty plumbers crawling all over for 4 days. Today they knocked out the wall into the bath, will take out the old tub, etc. Living with remodeling (as so many of you have) is totally not fun! Dust, dirt, no water! And I don't even want to think about the cost! I need a drink! Grrrrr! But instead of alcohol I am having chamolmile tea. It's soothing.

I feel better now...thanks for listening. Hugs! ;o)

Cap, brings back memories of when we had our tub replaced

last year. Replaced the original walls and tub of 32 years

old. Its a good thing they put painter's plastic and tarps

all over the place to ease cleanup.

And when I lived in Germany, we had a wall knocked out to

make going from one part of the house easier to another part,

and whew! the dust and dirt etc.

Now we need to remodel our kitchen..... aacckk!!!

love,

Cindy

Oh Cappy, I am so sorry about all your mess. Just think, when it gets all done, you can put on some soft music, open a bottle of champagne, light some candles, make room for 2 in that new tub and sneeze the whole hour because you couldn't wait to try it out before you cleaned up all the dust. BIG HUGS. ..Free

I cannot imagine doing something like this while recuperating from surgery RJ. But you and Gabby have (she is still getting over her sinus surgery) so I will ignore all the dust for now. I have spent more time at the gym this week. Not necessarily exercising...lots of socializing is more like it! Hugs
