We had the handy-man here to decide best way to install the new whirlpool tub, he found a leak under the kitchen, no time to fix, so I called the plumber. The plumber fixed the leak but found what terrible shape our pipes were in. So we decideed to have a repipe done before putting in the new tub. Today is the 4th day of repiping. Plus we decided to have the plumbers do the new tub as long as they're here and the handy-man can do the electrical. So I have had very nice but VERY dirty plumbers crawling all over for 4 days. Today they knocked out the wall into the bath, will take out the old tub, etc. Living with remodeling (as so many of you have) is totally not fun! Dust, dirt, no water! And I don't even want to think about the cost! I need a drink! Grrrrr! But instead of alcohol I am having chamolmile tea. It's soothing.

I feel better now...thanks for listening. Hugs! ;o)

Now that's a scenario I can get into Free! And that dust left in the tub will give our skin a nice dusky color, don't you think? Hugs!

Boy Howdy! I can relate! In Houston, I tore out our tub with the new one sitting right there in the front yard. (Such a terribly tasteful yard ornament!) Just to discover that there was only hope and caulk that had been holding the old tub in place. What should have been holding it up had rotted away. AND lol my mom and sisters were due in 4 days for my graduation and I was still writing papers and taking finals. (Can we say all h*ll broke lose?) Dh was most concerned about where he could shower and we ended up going to the community pool each morning for 3 days to shower. Writing papers while guys wield sledge hammers is great for the nerves. Did I mention it was a 1 bathroom house? We did get everything back in place before my family got there but it was a close call believe me! It really does test the nerves and fortitude to go through remodeling. It is really high up on the stress tables but after it is all done....Wait! lol Is remodeling ever all the way done? Hang in there and buy some jugs of water and maybe some jugs of wine. Hugs, BB

You and Janet need to get together and swap remodeling stories, Cappy. But it does sound like it's going to be really nice when it's done. It will be worth it all then...I think.

Mindy, would you believe there are actually people who don't know what a lovely lawn decor that makes? Quite commen in Wisconsin. Doesn't have to be the Virgin Mary either. A monk in his brown robe works or even an angel. Don't forget the flowers and paint the inside of the tub blue.

Now, since that tub is spoken for, who else has one they will share?

Hugs,

Rain
