I bought a digital camera finally!

When we were in Idaho, dd was very unhappy with herself because some pictures she was excited about didn't turn out, mainly because of camera problems. To cheer her up, I bought a digital camera that we found for a realy good price when we took her film in to be developed. I'm not sure it cheered her up all that much since I bought it for me and not for her, but it's the thought that counts, right? Last night I think I figured out how to get pictures from the camera to the computer and then on to someone else. I did manage to send one picture to Janet. Now I'll see if I can duplicate that feat. I think this is going to be a lot of fun.

We've had beautiful weather lately, then it turned cold and rainy today. Waaaa! I want my sun back.

I'm still "making friends" with my new digital, Kat. When you go to Vegas, make sure and take your battery charger with you! That's my biggest frustration; my camera seems to drain quite alot faster than I anticipate.

Congrats on the new technology!

Oh Kat!!! I am so very envious. I have been looking to get a digital camera for about a year now and always something comes up - tires for my car, my kitty's emergency vet visit, etc..

What did you get? Who many megapixels? Do you find it easy to use. I was just watching on the news last night where they are becoming lower in price with more features to make them easier to use. I'm looking to start with a 2 megapixel and gradually work up to something stronger, depending if I can do it or not. Memo-fog you know..lol.

Have fun w/your new camera. I know you will. Really, I'm very interested in knowing what you bought and so forth. Pls let me know. I'm excited for ya.

Love, Terry

I don't remember what kind it was but I can check later. It was 3.2 mp and was on sale for 179. I thought that was a pretty good price. Of course, by the time I bought an extended memory card and a rechargeable battery system, it was a little over 200, but still pretty good. I'm just learning on it...still need to sit down and have a long session with the manual.
