Nikki said that she thinks Akiva was

looking a little better last night. She said that her C02 had dropped a little too low after being way high so they had to do some adjustments. They took the iv in the head out as they can not leave them in long for fear of more infection. They said they think she became septic from the pic line she had (Iv that goes to her heart artery). Her dh and his step mom came to Van to see Akiva today, and so they will be giving me a call to say how she is doing today after they have had some time to see Akiva.
I will post any news under this posting later on when I hear from the kids.
Lets hope that the news is good this time.. the doctors would not give Nikki a percentage of chances of survival but we know it was not that good earlier on yesterday, but had improved by night time. This just goes to show she is one heck of a fighter.
well til I hear back I beter get off of here, maybe go and scrub walls or something that will keep my mind busy.
Hugs all! Lor

is looking a lot better than before. She is now getting some room air with her oxygen and this is a step up. the doctor said that it was from the pic line that she got septic, and that they are hoping that the antibiotics clear her up right away but it could take a long time yet, or depending on her may not take that long.
All that I know is that this is one determined little girl to keep on fighting!
Well that is abotu all I know for now but will post again when I hear more!
thanks for all the wishes!
Hugs, Lor

Honey I have been praying for that beautiful baby and dd since the day you said Nikki had Eclampsia and will keep doing so. Mac read your post below and said to tell you he wishes you all well. Both his children were premies, not as small as Akiva, and he really feels for you. My continued prayers. Love, Bern
