More nose surgery.....

My septum has moved back out of place in my left nostril, not all the way but enough to make breathing difficult again. He will go back in and take out some of the bone. I told him it would have to wait until after graduation. He felt so bad, but it's not his fault. After my visit today (he removed scabs) my nose bled for 7 hours, so I had to lie down for it to be controlled. I am so tired of this. Sorry if this post is gross to you, but I needed to whine. Gabby

Oh Gabby, I'm so sorry. 7 hours of nose bleed!!! My goodness, I hope you didn't get sick to your stomach. Ds and I both have a history of nose bleeds, and one time when he was about 2, he had one that just wouldnt stop. I held him in my lap (while he cried, which made it worse). Then when it finally stopped, he threw up blood (sorry for the graphics) what a mess. I at least learned my lessan and from then on didn't lay him down completely. When will the surgery be scheduled for? And when is the graduation. This is such a big change, isn't it. My ds is graduation 8th grade and I can feel the tears already. Where will he go next year and what is he going to study? Staying with the theater? Take care my friend and let us know how you're doing. Charlie

Nose bleeds are the worst. I did feel kind of sick, it was really not fun. Ds is going to the local Jr. College for 2 years and then transferring to Evergreen State College, where they have the best film department in this state. He is taking a film making class this summer already at the Junior College. Hugs, Gabby

Gabby, I think if we ever get together, we'll have to bring our sons. Even though there is a 4 year difference, sounds like they have alot in common. So far my ds shows no let up in his interest in theater and films. I keep wondering where he got this "passion". Most people don't know what they want to do after college while in college, and I can't seem to get him interested in anything else. As much as he wants to go to Hollywood, I keep telling him COLLEGE FIRST, lol. Good luck to your ds, and please keep me informed in what and how he's doing. Who know, maybe he'll make a movie starring my ds some day, lol. Charlie

Gabby dear...You are such a trooper. Even in LV, you hardly mentioned all the discomfort you were going thru. Keeping my fingers crossed that the second time around will be it for you. 7 hours, wow, that must be a record. You take all the time you need to rest up for this roudy group we have here, lol. BIG HUGS. ..Free
