More nose surgery.....

My septum has moved back out of place in my left nostril, not all the way but enough to make breathing difficult again. He will go back in and take out some of the bone. I told him it would have to wait until after graduation. He felt so bad, but it's not his fault. After my visit today (he removed scabs) my nose bled for 7 hours, so I had to lie down for it to be controlled. I am so tired of this. Sorry if this post is gross to you, but I needed to whine. Gabby

Thank you dear Nan!! Yes, I was getting concerned about that bleeding, but it wasn't strong as long as I was in a semi-reclined position, so I watched some TV while it was going on. Thanks for the congrats for ds, yes very emotional. Hugs, Gabby

That sounds so painful! It must be difficult to eat and sleep too. He sounds like a nice doctor. Try to enjoy the graduation festivities though.

Eating is not a problem. After the first surgery my sense of taste was way off and foods just tasted "wrong", but that went away after about 10 days. Sleeping is ok since my right nostril is good. Gabby

Oh Gabby girl---been there done that on a smaller scale! I hate it when I get nosebleeds too! They are gross when you try to describe them--no two ways about it! I had sinus surgery for just pollyps so I have a bit of an idea of what you're going thru! Just take it easy and enjoy graduation! Also BTDT--and all you can do is enjoy and try not to cry too much! Gab so sorry to hear you have more trouble. After surgery please try Arnica to prevent swelling and bruising. The Arnica will help control bleeding too. It helps reabsorbe it back into the body. Once surgery is completed try taking Calc. Phos. 6x, Symphytum Officinalis6x and this should heal the bones very quickly. Please make sure the bones are properly set before taking these remedies as they knit bone very quickly and are known as "knit bone." I normally use this for brokne bones and that is exactly what they are doing inside your nose. Hugs, Bern
