Good morning!

Started my summer hours this week, so I have Thursdays off. Ds is still sleeping and dgd spent the night with her Aunt and family, so I thought I'd take my "exercise time" to check out the board. Tried to do a little catch up, but it takes longer to post than it used to so hope I didn't miss anything important. I'm taking ds to buy scuba equipment today (just the mask, fins and snorkle). He's taking lessons thru boy scouts and plans on going to FL next year with the scouts to try out what they learn. I'm excited for him, would have liked to take the lessons also, but didn't want to put out the additional money at this time. Not sure what the afternoon will bring, I may try to make chat. Wanted to take ds to the pool but the weather may not cooperate. It's been cool and rainy here for a few days, but the weekend looks real promising.

Ds's 8th grade gradution was so nice, the kids read a few lovely poems and ds, along with about 6 other kids, sang a lovely song. The tears flowed, for most of the moms anyway. During the reception they ran a slide show of pictures the kids had brought in...baby, toddler and grade school. We were supposed to try to guess who was who. Alot of laughs there.

Well, I better try to get a walk in. Decided I'm going to walk outside today (usually I'm on the treadmill). I love the morning and since it's not raining, I want to enjoy the quiet. Have a wonderful day. Charlie

So good to see you Charlie!! Glad you'll be able to pop in a little more often!! Sounds like graduation was a success, know what you mean about those tears.

Hope you got that walk in, it's so wet here I can't even play in the flower beds! Grrrr!

Have a great day!

Good morning Charlie! Sounds like a good day for getting out to walk in, here we have rain so guess I will not venture outside.

Sounds like a perfect graduation ceremony, and I bet you were crying, I know I would have been.

Hope to see you at chat today!

Hugs, Lor

Thanks, Pam. I did get my walk in and lucky I went early as it did rain here again. It's been pretty wet here too, but I did get ds out to the garden to hoe out the weeds last night. I still have alot of yard work to do, but it'll have to wait. Charlie

Hi Char, what a lucky duck to have an extra day or two off in the summer! Have been busy here doing this and that...gardening, house project(the door) and sending stuff to ds in Iraq...sure wish he would come home!

Hope to see more of you now that you have extra time off!

Hugs

I think it would be fascinating to know how to scuba dive. I don't know if I could do it though. I tried snorkeling once and got all claustrophobic and wierd feeling with breathing even though my face was in the water. I guess that was a leap of faith my mind just wasn't ready to make. Enjoy that Thursday off!
