I haven't anything interesting to talk about, think about or lie about. Samo, samo Spring/Summer. Lots of gardening and outdoor work, lots of company, lots of RETIRED MAN AROUND THE HOUSE, and little time to be on the computer. But, wanted to stop by and tell you all "Hiddy Ho". Miss visiting with all of you. Still really dislike this format, but I guess I'll have to forgive iVillage in order to keep up with friendships. I know, I know...some friendships I'd maintain better if I'd just answer my e-mail! I promise, to those of you wondering if I'm ever going to get to it, I'm really, really trying to get my e-mail list in order and get on top of it. Firm embrace to all! Kay

Haven't "seen" you in ages Kathy! I think you're smart gardening in pots, even if it isn't your first choice. I'm starting to think I'm nuts for having so many flower beds to take care of, and like a fool I just keep adding more every years. Someone needs to drop a flower pot on my head and bring me to my senses! I take it you have water restrictions in your area?

You have a great summer also Kathy! Hugs! Kay

If you get a chance to e-mail a pic of that grandbaby....please do! Any word how much longer ds will be in Iraq? Bet he has plenty of stories to tell when he returns.

Interesting you think of gardening in "rounds" also. Have had my first "go around" with weeds and now starting on the next "round". Never ending. By August it just isn't fun anymore! Hugs! Kay

Howdy back at'cha! Poor ol' Mr. RM hasn't had a chance to do much on 'puter lately because that 'honey-do-list' is getting longer by the day. All the things he postponed because of bad weather is ready to go now! I think he's looking for an escape hatch.

Wonder how many gardeners we have on this board? Lots I believe. I know in my case it's really eating into my reading time as well. Gardening and company seem to be our summertime life.

Hope you're enjoying your summer. Did you take any Vegas pics you haven't e-mailed to me? How's that for a hint? Enjoy your weekend Capperella. Hugs! FB

You have a "Dirty Old Lady" gardening shirt to? I'm always taking off to nurseries, etc. on a whim when I've been shoveling dirt around or whatever, so think anyone that sells plants in this area is used to seeing me in my gardening clothes and assortment of caps and straw hats.

Good sale you hit. Our Sam's Club doesn't have plants. I've been trying to stay on top of some of the places in our area who mark their garden supplies down to practically nothing so I can start buying again. Always one of my big moments in life is arriving home with the car filled with half dead plants that I picked up at an obscene price.

A bottle of Scent #19,eh? Sounds like a good plan to me. Hugs! Kay

Sane? You're asking a lot there Jackie! LOL! I'm trying to at least walk a fine line of sanity these days....and like to feel I might be a bit successful. Others may say otherwise about me!

Looking forward to hearing what you're up to and where the two of you have been tromping off to lately. Hugs! Kay

Definitely know what you mean about"RETIRED MAN ABOUT THE HOUSE." Add onto that a 17 year old son who never stops eating, a daughter who is never home to care for her cat, a bil in a home, another bil in rehab for septicemia, a patient who has turned terminal and had to be admitted and you have my life. Since coming home from Vegas things have been hectic to say the least.

Have tried to get into my garden as much as possible but I fear until things change they must survive on thier own...good luck with the weeds:) Hugs, Bernie
