That is my little one a real determined one! She sure makes life look good from my eyes!
Now the not so good stuff.... Remember I told you that AL thought he had gout When we were in Vegas, sell turns out it is not gout but seems he has degenerative arthritis, and when he stood on his tip toes it seems to have been the last straw and the weekening has taken its toll. The xrays do not look good for him and the doctor is at the point of looking into almost anything. Seems that he does not think that this will improve much for Al... not good because the pain he is in is pretty bad.
I guess the combo of that and the osteopenia, the degenerative disc disease and the soft tissue rheumatism makes for him to have a lot of nasty stuff going on. But you know what if you never knew that anything was wrong with him to look at him you would not be able to tell, he is so great at hiding his pain.
The doctor wants him to take some time off work and try to recoup, but he is being stubborn... I on the other hand am pushing for the time off. I know that he is startting to think about it too as he said well if I did how will we work this. Men always about money!
Oh well guess I will be surfing to see what we can do to get this man back in the saddle so to speak!
Wishing you all a fabulous day
Hugs, Lor

Your Al is a strong guy. No one would ever have guessed he was in pain. And he's been coping with all these things together...amazing. My dh has degenerative disc disease also. He had an operation about 12 yrs ago that helped tremendously. But I know we wives are the only ones to see the pain...our iron men, huh Lori? Give Al & Akiva gentle hugs from Cappy please. Love to you all.

I feel so bad for Al. Just moving must be very painful for him! I hope the doc comes up with something to relieve it for him, and improve his situation. Please give him a gentle hug for me!
Thinking of all of you, admiring your strength! Pam

Sorry to hear you have added troubles. Sending prayers and positive thoughts that they find something to make Al feel better.
The news about Akiva is terrific. Will be waiting for that First day home pic.
Hugs,
Rain
Oh girl...Do you feeel like when it rains it pours?
I am so happy about Akiva--she's been in my thoughts and prayers more lately so it must be for these good improvements!
AS for Al...I know how you feel there altho' that's not dh's problems. I will be praying for Al as well now. It's the hardest when you just learn of these problems and don't have
any course of treatment yet. He sounds like my dh with his control of showing his pain...what's with these macho guys of ours. :o)
Let us know what's up and remember to take care of you. We mom-types forget that part in all the craziness of our lives.
Great big hugs to you,
Kathie
so she can make Nana happy when she moves closer.
On Al yea tough stuff, but like he says it is just something we will leaarn to live with.
PRobably a good thing he is not way overweight or a heavy drinker, can imagine
how bad it would have been if he was.
Hugs, Lor
You know I laugh because Al is so "oh I will deal with it" over this but when he gets a cold man you would think that the world has come to an end. LOL!
Have a good day!
Hugs, Lor
