My sweet little granbaby is coming to her home town in anywhere from 1 to 3 days time. She had her eye exam and there is no retina detachment and she has no brain bleeds and has gained weight and looking ever so beautiful!

Now I gues syou can tell I am a happy chickeria here!!! I am almost raisng the roof with my hip hip hoorays.

Anyhow that is my good news for the day... long time coming but hey well worth the wait.

Now my dr. appointment was so so... he says yes I do have rosacea and also some major skin damage from the sun... he gave nme a good long lecture.. told me from now on I need to wear nothign but long sleeves, a big floppy hat and my shirt buttoned up to my neck.

Now will I listen um errrr well not likely will do more sunscreen though.

He said it will cost me about 1700. for laser treatment if I chose to do that... dh had already promised me I would get it done this coming year so guess that will help some.

I did try to tell him I do not go out a lot in the sun and well he turned and said and you ma'am are a liar... look at your arms they are not white you do so go in the sun.

I more or less shut up then, figure I will not win with him.

Anyhow sun screen and me are best friends now and maybe I will help thi sout a bit... was not happy he would not give me cream for the rosacea though.

Oh well that is it for me need to go get showered up and chat with the family for a bit.

Hugs, Lor

Hip hip hooray! Lori, how wonderful that must be to have her coming "home". Will she be transferred to a hospital there? And do they have any idea how long it will be before she is really and truly home to stay? I'm so happy for you.

And I hope you'll drive down to see her this weekend.

I am so glad God gave his strength to Akiva. She

just could not do it without his help. Thank

you, Jesus. More Glory, Honor and Praise to you.

As for your rosacea, I know you will do whatever

it takes for it to go away. Still, we did not

notice in Vegas, you know.

love,

Cindy

Yippee!!! Whooopee!! Happy Dance!!! Lor, that is such good news!!! The whole family must be celebrating! Your little granddaughter is an amazing little one! So glad there's no eye damage, she's going to be just fine!!

Now, about your face. Get thee to a dermatologist. There are creams, etc, for treating rosacea. We dispense them all the time. And DO use a good sunscreen, girlfriend.

Happy hugs, Pam

They did transfer her to the kids hometown on the island here... and they say middle of July if all goes well she may go home, so they have to find a house pretty darn quick.

So happy here!

Thank you Cindy and yes a true blessing! I am hoping for Sunday to see her... they moved her last night, gave the kids 40 minutes notice and then they took off.

I am going to be a lot more careful, I too never thought it was as bad as the dr made it sound, but hey he is the professional.

I will be much more cautious now!

Pam yes we are celebrating her trip tpo health and to the island... such a good thing!

I was a little premature on the sayign no eye damage.. seems there is a slight bit liek level one but nothing they are concerned about and the other think they said is that the last time she got so sick she got a little bit of PDA ( lung damage) But again they said nothign that she will not be able to live with, just have to be a little more careful. The kids say no smoking around her at all, and other measures to protect her too ... I love that!

I did see the dermatologist and he is the one who said he would not bother to Rx me any cream teh worst part is the tiny veins at the surface so I will be getting the lazer for that.. but not this year it costs a fortune. And I do have SPF 30 and also one that is 45 just have to use it more than I have.I guess I did need his lecture alright!

Hugs, Lor
