Morning, my sisters...

Just wanted to pop in since I was awake, almost 4 am cst. Had the pre fixings for a crown done yesterday. I broke a big and old filling in two sometime this last six months. One of his assistances said I have a smaller mouth than some kids. Around my mouth is so sore from trying to keep it open as wide as I could for such a long time. Now looking at and listening to me, you wouldn't think I had such a tiny mouth, lol. I go back in 3 weeks for the permanent crown.

I finally broke down yesterday and went to the allergist. I have been fighting a sinus infection now for a couple of weeks. It's finally gone down to my chest so thats the sign. They always fuss at me for not going in sooner, but this time it was so different. Took it's bloody time. I'm on antibiotic and prednazone.

Bill is now having his blood pressure watched. It's a little too hi and for him, thats a big deal. No meds yet. He broke a filling the other week and chipped a tooth a couple of months ago. He's feeling like he is falling apart. I just pamper him and tell him welcome to the party. I go for my physical next Tue, oh whoopy.

I work today and tomorrow so I'll be scarse, not that I am always here these days. I just can't seem to make myself get onto this board since the changes with it this year. Actually, I don't spend near the time on the whole computer as I used to. I guess that means that I finally got a life. I know, don't fuss. I'll try harder to be more visible.

Gardens looking good, we have had June rains and just a little fall in our water bill. Bill finished the foot path to my secret garden. He finished the big path that was under construction for so long, several months ago. Both look really good. Well, my veggie garden flopped. I think I put the dirt/manure mixture wrong and got it too hot. Since I have 3 new half whiskey barrls free now, I put boganvia in 2 and copper plants in one. oh darn, more plants to buy, lol. Bill's cutting down the 2 remaining giant agaves and in their places, we will put red yucca and lirope in one bed, ocatoa (spelling ?), cactus in the other. At least our plant buying has slowed to a trickle. I'll see if I can get some picts of my gardens and send to those who want to see.

Welcome to any newbies I missed. You picked the right place to be in the world, right now. Prayers to those who need them, BIG HUGS for all. ..Free

I agree with you! Lots of times that dang cardboard the dentists use to hold our mouthes open hurts worse than the work they do. I just love the idea of a secret garden! If we ever move our garage, I know just where I'd put it! lol I've finally decided that farmer's markets will have to do me for a while for fresh veggies. Last year's $6 tomato still stings a bit. lol I think we don't have enough sun hitting us where I was trying to plant. If I ever find a spot in the yard that gets more sun, maybe I'll try again. Hugs, BB

Hi Free! don't let this format scare you away, now.

And I also have a small mouth; the dentist never

seems to have enough room to work with, lol.

Yup, we've been replacing ancient fillings and

crowns here too...they just don't seem to last

over 20 years, lol.

love,

Cindy

You are such a sweety, thank you. I will deffinately get you those picts as soon as I have them developed. How's the California weather over there? Hot and humid here as usual. I think the air condition8ing has spoiled us. Talk at ya later, my friend.

You know Bobbie, I don't think they used one. It was just too many fingers in there at once, lol.

Actually my secret garden isn't really secret any more. It is in the middle of the back yard and what used to make it secret were 4 cottoneasters, at each end. They get humongus here. We cut down 2 so we could spy on the birds at one of the feeders and the bird bath. Chuckie (my dog) and I sit on the park bench and be real quiet. That is untill there are several birds congrigated and then she runs and tries to catch them. Of course they are faster than she is.

I too get veggies from the farmers market, when I can. They are so much better than the fresh veggies in the store. I may try green onions again next year, we'll see. BIG HUGS. ..Free

Oh Cindy, I'll try to come more faithfully. As far as small mouths, yes, I can see that you have a tiny one, lol. But hey, a lot of wonderful words come from our small mouths. Have I ever asked you if you surf? BIG HUGS. ..Free

Ouch, Free. I know how you feel about keeping your mouth open at the dentist. I had two crowns this year (think it hurt the pocketbook more than me, lol), I hate holding my mouth open that long. I would love to get a picture of your gardens also if you're sending them out. I love to see what other people do with their yards. Hope you're feeling better, and try to get here more often. Charlie
