Funeral Arrangements

Funeral arrangements can be such a hassle. We had wanted to have everything in one day but had a couple of situations to work around and and ended up with the visitation Saturday night at the funeral home and the service Sunday afternoon at the church. Luckily the cemetery that we go to allows buriels on Sundays. First we thought we'd have to wait til Monday for that. Thank God the arrengements are all set now. Now we just have to get through it all emotionally.

Thank you all for your thought & prayers.......... kaci

Just got back from MIL's in Las Vegas. For us it went quite smoothly - probably had a lot to do w/her having a pre-paid plan & it was just us to work around. The only glitch for us was that she was w/us in Arizona when she passed away & her arrangements were all in Las Vegas & only covered a 75 mile radius. Just an extra cost for what had to be done to transport her up there & trying to give enuf notice to let whoever up there have a chance to read the obit in their paper. We had a small, simple, family graveside ceremony this morning w/a visitation time yesterday afternoon/evening & she is now in her spot between her husband (85) & her son (auto accident in 75).

Will keep you & your family in my prayers this weekend. {{{{{HUGS}}}}}

It's a lot of planning and a lot of emotion packed into a little bit of time. I'm sure it will go well, though...a good chance for everyone to say good-bye. Hang on there.
