tired of this country life. Yesterday I hit the stone wall with the lawn mower and smashed my finger trying to put it back. We'll thought ok I can handle that then comes today I went out to shake rugs and closed the basement door .Went to open it and lo and behold there was a snake right beside it. As some of you might remember last year a snake went across my foot. Tried to call the closest male neighbors but of course no one was home so the neighbor lady came and got the snake to go away. Dh said I probally scared it to death which was the right thing to do I thought (He He He) Please hope it doesn't come back to bug me again.

Have a great week(It has to be better then my last 2 days)

Billie you know that this just gives you an excuse to not to have to do these things, My goodness a stonewall and a snake, nope you need to be in the house making quilts or something. Hope that the snake has gone far far away and warned all its buds to not bother going to visit you.

Hugs, Lor

This post made me giggle! But only 'cuz it brought back memories of when we had a snake come into my playroom over the doorstop behind one of my daycare moms as she came to pick up her little girl a few years back. It promptly slithered behind the coat cubbies (I'm sure we scared it to death) & there we were two very-squeamish grown women one on one side with a pencil & one on the other side w/a coffee can trying to get the thing out. At least we were both feeling the same so we got in a few giggles while we were at it...I DO NOT like snakes either!

Hope you're having a good start to the new month.
