I just happened to be up in the middle of the night with one of my famous 'headaches' so I showered, boy did the hot water feel good on my the back of my skul & neck, tried to tidy up a bit without waking Bill and went outside to watch it rain. We have a second rainy July in a row but one thing different about this year's, no 26" in one day. Nice little showers here and there, the gardens love it. Yes, I promised picts to those who want them, just haven't taken them yet. I will.
Bill took something off the kitchen wall and with it came a strip of paint and wall paper. Wall paper that had been here since the house had been built in the 50's. When we moved into this house it was painted over and we didn't know it was there. Now we had the paint already to do the kitchen, but didn't know it would be, like, now. So we spent yesterday peeling old wall paper off the walls of the kitchen and the next step is...well, you know.
Oh I'm so excited...I don't know if I told you or not but I want to change the guest room into a sewing room. Now I have to have a bed in there for guests, yes Kat, there will still be somewhere for you to sleep when you come visit again, lol. Well, I have been looking for a day/trundle bed because it's the only other piece of furniture that will fit in that room, the other being a sewing table. I finely found one. It is second hand but it's in great shape with practicly new mattrices. Not day bed mattrices, but twin bed mattrices. It's all wood painted white which I am going to strip and stain. I've never done that before so who knows what it will turn out to look like, but I'm willing to try. It was homemade and very well made at that, will last forever. Now the furniture that is in there now, is Bec',s which she couldn't have till I didn't need it anymore. Well, she can come get it as soon as she wants, Bill took it all apart yesterday and it's ready for her. Next We'll paint that room and I will have a brand new sewing room, I can't wait.

Been battling with high colestrol, of course it would help if I ate right, It really went up lately so I guess I'll try again. My dr is not going to like the readings she will get from my blood test last week.
Y'all have a great week and keep all our troops still in the Middle East in your prayers. RJ, loved your son's letter, thanks for sharing. Prayers for all who need them, BIG HUGS for everyone. Hi to the newbies and I'll be seeing you around. ..Free

Sure hope that headache is better now. Your sewing room sound just perfect. How lucky to find a great sewing table.
We were going to paint a bedroom here and had to strip wallpaper first what a mess. Sure hope your kitchen was not so bad.
Have a wonderful Sunday. I just got the pictures I took in Vegas. Love being able to put real faces with those names.

spare bedroom needs a new identity, too;
was thinking that half should be for crafts
and half for business; with a divider down
the middle. It can be done. We used to
have it as a guest room, but I can always
just put down a fat futon and comfy pillows.
Good luck on painting your kitchen!
love,
Cindy

We both have Bills in our life! ha ha ha... Last week I went to the doctors so while I was there I ask the doc what my colestral was. I figure it was alright because he never contacted me when my result came in. Any how colestral was 273 can you believe that. I asked him why he has not put me some serious drugs to get it down before I have a heart attack and he said I do not need any drugs because my good colestral was 140. He said he has never in him life ever seen some one's good colestral be that high. hummmm... I wonder how many Hawaiians he has as patients. It is probably a genetic thing! What was your ratio ...--> bad colestral vs. good colestral?
