Jusy a quick note to catch up.

I'm driving over to Corvallis tonight to see my daughter. I can't leave until 11:00 so I won't get there until about 12:30. I'm taking a bunch of things to her and will be able to see her new apartment for the first time. That car is so stuffed. It was bad enough...then I went to the store and just bought a few things for her cupboards. Well, okay, a lot of things...but I want her to be able to eat. (Actually, I want to be able to eat while I'm there!)

For the first time in my life, I have been counting calories and trying to keep track of everything I eat. I've lost 8#. You can't tell...or, at least, I can't. Don't look any different but just MAYBE my pants went on a little more easily out of the dryer this time. Wishful thinking?

Just heard from my son that his divorce will be final the end of this month. That is so fast! I didn't even know he'd started the paperwork. Apparently, Junko is okay with it as long as she has custody. She says he can come visit whenever he wants to and that Byron can come over here when he gets a little older. I guess it could be a lot worse, but I am sure missing that little boy.

The baby bird didn't make it...just too young, I think, to be away from his nest for that long.

Hope you all have a great week-end. See you at chat.

Have a nice visit with Zana! I'm so glad Junko is being reasonable about visitation. It will be nice when it's time for Byron to come and visit. Hopefully that won't be too far in the future. Hugs, Gabby

Hope you had a good drive to Z's place and are having a fun visit Kat. Especially unloading the car!

I'm sure that 8# loss is showing. Think I may follow your example and write things down. Seeing it on paper must be "eye-opening"! I have just been so lazy lately.

Have a great weekend. Hugs

Kat enjoy your weekend with your dd. LOL I remember going to my dd first appt and taking some groceries along. I am sorry to hear that your ds divorce is almost final but I guess it is for the best and I do hope he can see his son as much as possible.

Sorry to hear about the baby bird too. I am sure it was just too young to make it alone.

Safe journey hope to see you at chat tonight.

Love and Hugs

Mary

Kat, I used to do that everytime I went to see my dd.. groceries, and anything else I thought she would need... and yes also so there was something there I could eat while visiting.

Now you lost 8#s, Wow... not that I thought you needed to lose any at all.. you looked just great to me!

Glad to hear that you will be able to see the little guy when he is old enough , but sorry to hear that it actually came to a divorce for your ds and wife.

Ah too bad about the bird, I hoped it would make it!

Hugs, Lor

Kat,

I do that too, when I go visit my kids. Not only do we have to eat but it's a mom-thing.

LOL Hope your visit is fun, and your drive nice.

I know about sons and their divorces...good luck to your ds...I hope you get to see your dgs more too.

I'm proud of you losing 8#! I figure I usually lose it first in my elbows or somewhere that I can't it either! LOL

Please email me since I lost all my extra addresses when we got our new cpu.

Hugs,

Kathie
