Hello everybody,

I'm new here and my youngest daughter(15) sent me here. I started a "diet"(I hate that word) 2 yrs. ago in April. I have since lost 97#,plus or minus. We all know that changes almost daily. I'm soon to be 46 and everything is starting to sag. Yuck! My thunder thighs just won't go away, but I am proud to say I am back to my original weight from 20 yrs. ago when I got married, and I've inherited my 15 yr. olds clothes that have become too big for her. She has become very active with Tae Bo,pilates, etc. Well you all have a wonderful weekend!

Hi Sandy,

I'm Kathie from Wyoming...welcome.

I'm so impressed with your weight loss! I went from being able to eat whatever and how much I wanted to looking at food put the weight on. So I'm struggling with learning a whole new mind set. Keep it up!

This is a great group of gals...hope you can come in often.

Hugs, Kathie

Congratualtions on that weight loss. That is great! I have lost 8# over the past few weeks which is probably a record for me. So I really admire the kind of stick-with-it-ness that you must have shown to do so well.

Welcome, Sandy, and congrats on the weight loss. Thank your dd for showing you where to come, we have a great bunch of ladies here. Seems like the older we get the harder it is to keep it off. And I've noticed I'm starting to "shrink", and with gravity pulling everything DOWN, seems like you have to weigh even less in order to fit into the same size you once wore. Hope to see you around frequently. Charlie

Sandy,,,, lol, on the snoring, shoot I wake myself up from my own snoring!! how bad is that.. I wish I could get myself out walking every day, I work alot in my flower beds thats about the only exercise I do get, guess I need to push myself. the weight is so easy to put on, and in the winter months its worse. I will try and make it my goal to go out walking every day, easy right now, with working in the evenings. well I have Wed, and thursday off work so I am going to try and climb that darn ladder and paint this trailer, I want to get it donw so bad, just wish I had some help. I wish you the best in getting into shape, I know its hard, believe me,, been trying for along time. have a wonderful Monday ahead, hugs,,,,,Pam

Hi Pam,

I got the whole kingsize H20 bed to myself last night!!!! Sent hubby and dogs on the couch. :O) We don't have much for flowers here. Just the wild ones, they're pretty enough. We have a mall here where we can walk in when the weather's crappy. Those stupid walls get pretty dang boring, though. Sometimes the only highlight are the sexy young men posters in the Ambercrombie and Fitch windows.

It must be a bummer working nights;but then again you have the daylight hours to yourself.

Take care,

Sandy
