catch up so I'll just say a big "HI!" and I hope all is well with everyone. Our Youth Choir trip to Orlando was a resounding success. Performing in Disney World is so exciting and they were top notch, but it was 95 degrees with 93% humidity and we were under stage lights!! We were soaked with perspiration and one young lady started feeling light headed and had to leave the stage during the last number. She was okay after cold compresses and Gatorade!

We all worked a hard three days at the mission projects (an interesting experience ......can you say "lice"??) We played and prayed together and I know it was life changing for some of our teens. I felt so good when early in the week a bunch of girls (6 of them) came in our room one night just to talk. There we were, two adult female chaperones and six girls just talking girl talk....some serious and some of it pure nonsense that had us in hysterical, uncontrollable fits of giggles! It was like that all week. I was honored that they WANTED to spend time with us. For our days in Disney, we split into "families" with a couple of chaperones and 4-5 youth. We all got so close! They also got me on some rides (like "Tower of Terror") that I was determined not to go on, but went with them anyway. It was a blast! They were so well behaved, no major problems and we had a wonderful time....not much sleep, but a wonderful time.

I love to travel, but I've been on the road a lot since Spring so I'm ready to be home for a while now. My house needs attention. Dh does okay as a "bachelor" but a man is a man! LOL!! I'll start reading and try to get back in the swing here.

Many hugs,

Sooze

HI Sooze and welcome home!! Sound like the trip was great!! As for the rides at Walt Disney World, they would have never gotten me on them. I get really sick anymore on the rides. The temps there sounds awful poor girl I am so glad she was ok.

Have a good Monday

Hugs and Love

I was just wondering last night about you Sooze! Seemed like it had been a while since I'd *seen* you!

Glad you had such a fulfilling trip! That says alot about you and the other chaperone that those girls would want to hang out with you like that! Very neat!

Welcome back, and hugs,

Red

I don't actually get sick on those rides...just a fear factor thing! I didn't want to be the only one to NOT go on them though! LOL!! "Peer" pressure you know!! Now thinking back to the Las Vegas trip....maybe I'm more adventuresome than I thought! LOL! Its good to be home.

Many hugs,

Sooze

Lori,

I am glad to be home. We got home late Saturday night. I did make it to church yesterday morning, but took a three hour afternoon nap. This morning I slept late, but this afternoon I've had trouble keeping my eyes open! Hopefully, I will catch up soon. I just read your post about Akiva. I'm so glad that things are going well. What a miracle!

Many hugs,

Sooze

Welcome back, Sooze! Sounds like you and the kids all had a great time in Orlando! And they sound like a super bunch! Dont' you love it when the kids want to spend time with the "older ladies"? LOL!

Now, unpack, put it all away, and stay home for a while! You must be exhausted from traveling!!!

Hugs, Pam

What a wonderful experience all of you had, Sooze. They will never forget that. But I'll bet you are glad to be home. So nice to get away...so nice to get home again. It's good that it seems to work that way. Glad to have you home too.

"Tower of Terror", never heard of it, sounds like you liked it. Your whole trip sounds wonderful (well, except the lice), how cool to sing at DisneyWorld. Welcome home my friend. Love, Gabby
