We all worked a hard three days at the mission projects (an interesting experience ......can you say "lice"??) We played and prayed together and I know it was life changing for some of our teens. I felt so good when early in the week a bunch of girls (6 of them) came in our room one night just to talk. There we were, two adult female chaperones and six girls just talking girl talk....some serious and some of it pure nonsense that had us in hysterical, uncontrollable fits of giggles! It was like that all week. I was honored that they WANTED to spend time with us. For our days in Disney, we split into "families" with a couple of chaperones and 4-5 youth. We all got so close! They also got me on some rides (like "Tower of Terror") that I was determined not to go on, but went with them anyway. It was a blast! They were so well behaved, no major problems and we had a wonderful time....not much sleep, but a wonderful time.
I love to travel, but I've been on the road a lot since Spring so I'm ready to be home for a while now. My house needs attention. Dh does okay as a "bachelor" but a man is a man! LOL!! I'll start reading and try to get back in the swing here.
Many hugs,
Sooze

I don't actually get sick on those rides...just a fear factor thing! I didn't want to be the only one to NOT go on them though! LOL!! "Peer" pressure you know!! Now thinking back to the Las Vegas trip....maybe I'm more adventuresome than I thought! LOL! Its good to be home.

I am glad to be home. We got home late Saturday night. I did make it to church yesterday morning, but took a three hour afternoon nap. This morning I slept late, but this afternoon I've had trouble keeping my eyes open! Hopefully, I will catch up soon. I just read your post about Akiva. I'm so glad that things are going well. What a miracle!
Many hugs,
