We all worked a hard three days at the mission projects (an interesting experience ......can you say "lice"??) We played and prayed together and I know it was life changing for some of our teens. I felt so good when early in the week a bunch of girls (6 of them) came in our room one night just to talk. There we were, two adult female chaperones and six girls just talking girl talk....some serious and some of it pure nonsense that had us in hysterical, uncontrollable fits of giggles! It was like that all week. I was honored that they WANTED to spend time with us. For our days in Disney, we split into "families" with a couple of chaperones and 4-5 youth. We all got so close! They also got me on some rides (like "Tower of Terror") that I was determined not to go on, but went with them anyway. It was a blast! They were so well behaved, no major problems and we had a wonderful time....not much sleep, but a wonderful time.
I love to travel, but I've been on the road a lot since Spring so I'm ready to be home for a while now. My house needs attention. Dh does okay as a "bachelor" but a man is a man! LOL!! I'll start reading and try to get back in the swing here.
Many hugs,
Sooze

Now, tell us...which was scarier, the "Tower of Terror" or your "Thunder" debut? Lots of new experiences for you these past few months. But I bet being at home is all you are craving for awhile. The Youth Choir sounds like a group of wonderful young people.
Welcome back and many hugs.

I pretty much get around at will. I have to be careful about how much bending I do and things like that, and I must use a walker for another 4 wks as I cannot put alot of weight on the leg yet, but that's okay. I have a little trouble sleeping sometimes at night, but I understand that's pretty normal. Can only sleep on one side or my back, and I have never been a back sleeper! Anyway, I have the luxury right now of being able to take naps if I need one.
Tomorrow I have my first physical therapy appointment and boy, am I ready. I want to get back to normal so bad. But I know it's a slow go. It will just be nice to get out of the house and do something progressive and physical. I get to use the therapy pool at the end of the appointment and I am so excited. I love exercising in water! I must have been a Labrador Retriever in a former life! LOL!
Hugs,
Red
