OMG! Dd wrecked her car again!!!...

This time it might not be worth repairing. She's ok, thank God, just a bruise on her knee and a sore chest where the shoulder belt restrained her. She rear-ended a Ford Explorer in heavy traffic, this time she'll probably lose her license for a long time. Needless to say, she's very upset since she's supposed to start her new job at Taco Bell this week. I'm not angry with her, I did the same thing in '97 to the tune of over $6000 in damage to both vehicles! She was by herself, not goofing around, so I'll support her when we go to court next week. I hope they give her driving privileges to work!

I'm off to see the surgeon tomorrow, the one who took out my gall bladder. This is the last ditch resort to figure out what this pain in my side is. It has to be either adhesions/scar tissue or another stone getting stuck somewhere! I'm taking my CT scan films and chest xray, they're really neat to look at, although I don't have a clue what I'm seeing! LOL! Can't wait to see this doc again, he was absolutely gorgeous!! :D

Ds is fighting with the dealer that sold him his car last month. They can't seem to fix the problems it has, and the financing got messed up too. Honest to Pete! I'm so sick of car problems!!!! The people at the dealership have not been very helpful, in fact the finance guy was downright insulting tonight! We're looking into the Lemon Laws. Same old story, no one wants to take responsibility for doing/not doing their job! Grrrrr!

I'm off to bed, long day tomorrow with lots to do. Hope you're all having a good week, take care!

Hugs, Pam

Oh man, you 3 need a break, for Pete's sake. Dd may lose that license if the laws are like here, and it could be for a couple of years. I'm really sorry, Pam. Let us know how it goes at the doctor's for you. I hope he figures out this pain you have been having. Hugs and Love, Gabby

Oh Pam I am so glad Sarah was not hurt and I sure hope they will give her driving privilages to work seems to me they should.

I would say enough car problems for you and your children lately.

Please let us know what happens when you see the DR. I am so worried about that pain in your side.

Love you

Mary

I's so relieved that DD is OK! I agree with you, Pam! Cars are a huge pain in the patootey! And everything that relates to them, eg. dealers, mechanics, etc.

Hope the court will grant her driving privileges for work. That just only seems reasonable. Does she have to go very far? Do you have transit there? I tell ya, I have become a bus-believer here in this city. It's awful to maneuver here and find parking. Just as soon let someone else do the driving!

Oh No Pam,that is awful! I am glad that your dd is not hurt too badly though. Hope too that they will allow her to drive to work, would hate to see if they totally revoke her licence.

Gee you guys have had your car problems haven't you! Hope that your ds can get that deal straightened out.. sounds like it is no different there than it is here.. they are sure friendly when selling you the car but once off the lot forget it they can be as rude as they like.

Good luck at the drs. hope that they can figure it out for you! Isn't it nice when you get an easy to look at dr.

Hope you are having a good day today!

Hugs, Lor

Oh Pam, I'm so sorry about all you car problems. How fortunate that dd is ok. Thank God she was wearing her seat belt, so many young people today don't think they need them. I hope the courts will give her driving priveleges. Good luck at the Dr, I hope he can find out the problem. Take care and let us know. Charlie

Pam,

Sounds like your up to your ears in car trouble. Glad dd wasn't hurt badly. Do hope ds can resolve the disagreement in his favor.

As for the pain, could it be a need to see that doc again? LOL Hope he finds nothing serious.

Hugs,

Rain
