Being brand new to the board thought I'd pose the question. What is the single most important thing you think you've learned as you've gotten older????

Having battled cancer over the last year mine is definately "If you don't have your health....you don't have anything...so don't take your life for granted and live it to the fullest!"

A warm welcome to you Barb. I think, or I know you will find this board a great place for friendship, support, and a place you can share your thoughts and find that you will have so much in common with some of the ladies here.

I like your question. It's something to really think about. Myself, I am dealing with health problems, and there isn't a day that goes by that I wish I had my health back. I guess it made me realize just how much more there is to life, and what I thought was important when I was younger is no longer as important.

Again, welcome to our board, really glad you found us, and hope to chat again soon.

Don't forget the Chat by the way. Everyday Mon - Fri at Noon, est.

Hope you are doing well and look forward to posting again. Terry

Hi, Barb. I'm not very good at practicing what I've learned but I keep trying. I think the most important lesson that I'm working on is to leave each day to the fullest within your capabilities. You just never know what's going to happen.

Welcome to the board and thank you for the question.
