Frank's kids are still here, (2 girls 10 & 11, and this week the boy came, 15) and they have virtually taken over the basement and that's where the computer is. I am alone this a.m. as they've all gone fishing, so am taking the opportunity to try and catch up with things here.
Boy, I am so ready to get my house back! With my limitations after surgery, Frank has been in charge of the kitchen for the most part. I'm slowly getting back in there, but it's stil kinda hard to move around carrying things back and forth (like a pot of boiling water) while on crutches or using the walker. So consequently, NOTHING is put away in the right place, I can't find things and various other irritations. For instance, Frank has this habit of grabbing a new dish rag every time he works in the kitchen, so there are about 4-5 wet dishrags hanging around or wadded up on the counter at any given time. Me? I just rinse one out well, hang it up and use it over again. Maybe use ONE a day. Is that what you do? We don't own enough dishrags to keep up with his usage! OK, I know I'm obsessing at this point, but this is only one example. I'm seeing all kinds of stuff going on like that which I just have to let go of because he's kind of running the house for me. I just can't wait to get back on both my feet!!
His kids are good kids, but I'm just not very used to having kids around 24/7 any more. They like to hover around and it is kind of getting to me. One of them asks really obvious questions. Not the sharpest knife in the drawer if you know what I mean. They leave on Wednesday.
The thing is, Frank knows it's getting to me, and this morning he acknowledged that to me. But you know, he put up with my DD and Hunter staying here for 8 months, so I guess I can put up with his kids for a month! It's just been hard since I've been housebound this whole time! Can't drive yet.
P/T is going well. I really get loosened up in the warm wter pool. Then (LOL) I get my butt massaged afterwards! LOL! Who wouldn't like that??? LOL! Really, it is nice, because I have this knot that feels like I'm sitting on a rock or a fat wallet much of the time.
Sheesh, this is getting long. Sorry about all the ranting, but I have just been so pent-up! Hope to make it to chat tonight! Maybe see some of you there!

We sure have missed you too!!! I think I would be a bit nuts too with children that age around for a month. LOL With my dh retied I can sure understand how you feel about your kitchen. Mine seems to have decided he can cook now. Never has in the 30 years we have been married!! Then I go to do something in there and cannot find anything because he as put it away where it make sense to him to put it. I told him don't rearrange my kitchen and I promise not to mess up your tools in the garage. LOL
Hope to see you in chat tonight if not hopfully soon at the weekday chat.
I betting Frank took those kids fishing to get them out of your hair for a while.
Enjoy your time alone!! Soundsl ike you are getting better by the day keep up the good work.
