Strength in Our Numbers...

Strength in Our Numbers....ladies, I have

something to ask you.

First off, my faith is very strong and I remain

upbeat, but I also know that God takes pleasure

in hearing ALL of our prayers and not just

some.

So with that, can you take just a mere 15 seconds

to pray for my son by name, Levin Mills, as we

just found out that he has a brain tumor in a "very

bad place", but with prayer, this tumor will not

grow any bigger than it already is nor harm him.

He had fallen off a roof at work the other day and

broke his wrist in 5 places...they then did a full

head/body MRI and CAT because of the fall, hence, the

brain tumor was "accidentally" found.

Should have seen the faces of the staff.

And "found in time" I say, because if not for the fall,

it might have been discovered too late. I am so

thankful for the blessing in disguise!!

So ladies, as we have done for each others families,

please pray along with me that it will not grow

bigger.

With all my heart, I thank you in advance...

love,

Cindy

p.s. its an unusual tumor just behind the

nasal area, smack in the middle of his head

where it really should not be, and must not

grow any bigger.

Levin cried upon hearing today's diagnosis,

and yes I consoled him. still so young.

still my baby, no matter what age.

I told him I would not waiver

in strength.

I just happened to pop in tonight and saw your post. I'm so sorry I wasn't around sooner to throw in my strength and support with the others. I hope that you're still reading threads to this post so you'll know that I'm sending out a ton of positive vibes and good thoughts for not only Levin, but for you and all your family. It's such a terrible thing when anyone we care for has their health threatened, but when it's one of our children it's devastating. It's funny how something bad can bring about something good. In this case Levin's broken wrist being the catalist to the discovery of his tumor. On down the road I'm sure you'll see something positive come out of his present ordeal. Sometimes life is just funny that way.

I know you're strong even though you may feel a little hammered down by present events...but you will be there to support him when he's scared and down and through lending him your strength you really will find even more to draw on. Plus, you have us to turn to when you just can't keep your chin up one extra minute in front of your family. Just tell us when you need us. ((((firm embrace)))) Kay

Kay, thank you so much for your kindness.

Levin will definitely know that he will never

be alone in trial or tribulation.

Cindy

Cindy, I'm adding my prayers for Levin to all the others. There is strength and power in numbers! I'm also letting a couple of other prayer chains know about him, and will have them add him to theirs.

Miracles happen every day! Not long ago, one of the "dreaded cousin's" friends took a fall on a bus, hitting her ribs on the metal back of a seat. When X-rays were done to see if she broke one, a tiny spot was found on her lung. Surgery was performed, and it was found she had lung cancer. It had not spread, the surgery was successful and she is 100% cancer free! If it hadn't been for her fall, she wouldn't have found out until it became symptomatic, and too late for a successful outcome. I hope and pray that this is the case for Levin, that his fall was what was needed to discover the tumor in a timely manner, and that he's well soon.

(((hugs)))

Cindy, I am a very strong believer in the power of positive thoughts. He will be in my thoughts every day. Let him know that he will have some really serious positive vibes coming his way from all directions. And take care of yourself while you are being strong for him.

Cindy, I just stopped and said a prayer for your Levin. May God be with him now and always. This is such a shock, I know, but you are right when you said "a blessing in disquise" about the fall. Can they operate on this tumor? Dear Cindy, my thoughts and prayers are with your family. Love and Hugs, Gabby

Jan, mahalo. What you are doing for my son is

far more precious than gold. I turned on my

computer again tonight and my tears flowed as

I discovered more prayer chains by wonderful

ladies like you.

Without a doubt, His higher power is working

through all of you.

Gabby, thank you, it means so much to my whole

family. Not sure about what they will do about

it. The Tumor group will meet to discuss the

case and will probably let us know in a week

as to the different options.

Mahalo again, and anytime you need prayer I'll

be your foremost warrior!!

love,

Cindy
