Ladies, I just want to say Thank- You

I feel now is a good time to bring this up because there is an awful lot of need for prayers for many of our members. As you all know my family has gone through some rather stressful months and through this time I know that I was leaning to the "why us stage"! I never lost my faith that things would work out but I am not sure how long I could have carried that faith without you all!

You ladies will never know just how much you have done with your words of kindness and prayers and everything. I know that for one thing without you all I could have very easily given up hope myself, instead when I saw all that you ladies did for Akiva my strength and faith grew day by day!

I find it hard to put words to how much I appreciate you all for everything. The caring and friendship from this group is so overwhelming.

Easily I could have listened to those who said Akiva would never make it, or to those who said that she would be nothing but a disabilty... but instead I took the glory and warmth and hope from you all and loved every moment that our little one has given us. Sure there will be obstacles to overcome with her but knowing that we have made it this far... I am sure that there is very little that we can not face.

I just want to say that sure it is easy to say never give up, but until I faced this I never realized just how much that statement means.

Thank each and every one of you... You are all so very special to me!

Love, Lor

Aw shucks Lori....what sweet words! This is a special group and YOU are one special lady yourself!! The caring expressed here is genuine indeed. I'm so glad things are going well for Akiva and your family. I bet you are spoiling her something awful!

Many hugs,

(((((((Lori))))))...you are so very welcome! Lori, do you rmember when I told you a friend of mine had a baby born at 21 or 22 weeks. It was touch and go for a long, long time. That baby will be 3 soon!! She is doing wonderful, no signs of anything wrong with her. She actually made the medical books, as the youngest ever to survive. She is an inspiration to all other pre-mature babies!! I KNEW your Akiva would make I, I never doubted it for one second, the feeling inside of me was so positive the whole time. God bless you all, Gabby

Lor, that was very well-said.

A long time ago the "why me? why my family?"

train of thought disappeared. Totally

useless.

And I am not afraid to say here that I

began total trust and obedience in God,

so that when the "dry seasons" arrived,

he would work through our family, friends,

THIS GREAT GROUP, even things that are

not of God, to bring about personal blessings.

And to bring us successfully through the

dry times.

I am trying to teach Levin that same

trust and obedience.

Greg and I are so glad to have found

this YWB group 3 years ago; this group has

helped to serve God's purposes many times over!

Fear and worry are the enemies/opposite of faith and trust.

It's natural to feel some of that right after

an event, but the sooner we turn those off

the faster we will be on our way.

I will say this again, you ladies are absolutely amazing!!

Keep on keeping on!

love,

Cindy

And it is so very true Cindy! Yes I have to say that I wonder how things would have been without you all adding to my faith and beliefs!

And the saying power by numbers is so true how often can we find this much knowledge and strength in a group this size.

I know that with time Levin will find that power also!

Keeping him in my prayers!!!

Love this group!

Hugs,Lor

Lori this group of ladies is truly amazing and so many times I have seen what can happen with such faith as lives on this wonderful board. We are all very fortunate to have found our way here.

You little one is going to grow and become such a joy to her family.

Love and Hugs

Yep Gabby I sure do remember that and it was one piece of why I kept the faith that things would work. Life is good and even with the bumps and bruises along the way!

Hugs and thanks! Lor

Mare you are so right, and you know I think since I found this board that I have found more care in the 3 plus years than I have in 10 or more without you all.

Akiva will be true to her name and show everyone that yes it can be done you just have to believe in it!

Hugs Lor

Lori, you didn't need to say anyhting. We are sisters of the heart...we know what you feel, we have lived it with you. Many people may think it strange how so many women can come together to form such a strong bond yet never meet each other. Some of us have met and that's terrific but it does not diminish the feelings for those who have not. We have all shared your heartbreaks and joys with you. Miles can never effect nor diminsh the love shared on this board. Mac and I, and I am sure everyone here, wish your family the best...you certainly deserve it. Love, Bernie and Mac

Lori, you have always been very special to us and now Akiva is part of all of us as well. I'm so glad she has this chance at life. What a special blessing.
