More sad news, I'm afraid

I told some of you in chat on Friday that I had visited my Aunt Thursday. She had not been well and was in a nursing home "temporarily" to try to regain her strength. She was not eating and so weak that she couldn't even get up anymore. My uncle could not take care of her that way even though they had in home health care. She passed away this morning. Her family had taken her home on Saturday to spend time with all of them, and had taken her to have her hair done (this is a big thing for her, she had her hair done every week almost her whole life and it had a been a month). They brought her back to the nursing home last night, and she passed this morning. I hate to say it but I think she just gave up, thinking she was going to have to stay there permanently. I am just so thankful I got to see her, it had been a couple of years. Please keep Aunt Joanne's family in your prayers. Thank you. Charlie

Ah Charlie I am so sorry to hear about your Aunt Joanne. Such a sad time for you and your family!

I am so glad that you did get that time with her before her passing... I just wish you could have had longer with her.

I will be keeping you and Joannes family in my prayers also!

hugs, Lor

So sorry {{{{{{{{{{{{{{Char}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}

We hate to see them go. It seems an added insult when

they weren't in their "home" but in a Nursing Home,

but it sounds like she had a lovely time with family

before she left for a better place.

Condolences, prayers for Aunt Joe's family, & Love, Sara

Charlie, I so sorry about your aunt. But how nice that her last days were happy ones with her family. When my father died unexpectedly in his sleep, it was a shock...but we were so glad that he went when he did and did not have to linger on getting more and more helpless. (((Hugs)))

Oh Charlie, so sorry. One good way to look at this is that after being so long since she got her hair done, she was able to meet Our Lord looking her best. Maybe that's what she was waiting for. Love and BIG HUGS. ..Free

Charlie,

Glad you were able to see her before she passed. Prayers are on there way to the family. It is always painful to lose someone you love no matter the circumstances.

It's so hard to see our elderly relatives pass, isn't it? You always remember them in their prime. So sorry about your loss, Charlie. Sounds like your aunt had a nice last few days with her family. I'm glad you got to see her, too.

Hugs,

Red
