I told some of you in chat on Friday that I had visited my Aunt Thursday. She had not been well and was in a nursing home "temporarily" to try to regain her strength. She was not eating and so weak that she couldn't even get up anymore. My uncle could not take care of her that way even though they had in home health care. She passed away this morning. Her family had taken her home on Saturday to spend time with all of them, and had taken her to have her hair done (this is a big thing for her, she had her hair done every week almost her whole life and it had a been a month). They brought her back to the nursing home last night, and she passed this morning. I hate to say it but I think she just gave up, thinking she was going to have to stay there permanently. I am just so thankful I got to see her, it had been a couple of years. Please keep Aunt Joanne's family in your prayers. Thank you. Charlie

Charlie, I'm sorry to hear about your Aunt Joanne. It was good that you got to see her again. We recently lost our Uncle, and didn't get the chance to see him. He was improving, and seemed to be doing very well after being in the hospital since January with an antibiotic resistant infection he picked up at a previous surgery.

It's so sad, with many of us losing family members. I'll keep your Aunt and your whole family in my thoughts and prayers. Remember to hug your family members and friends whenever you can! You never know when it'll be the last time!

(((hugs)))
