SAME SEX MARRIAGE....HOW DO YOU FEEL?

Well the place that I work does mostly weddings, worked hundreds of them. Today we got into the "big" discussion about same sex marriages. Now that it is legal in Canada they feel it's just a matter of time before we have some at our place of business. Being that I work in a Military ( MOSTLY MALE) environment every one is up in arms about this.

Being one of the senior people there I put in my two cents worth which was not received very well.

My philosophy is why can't a man love another man, or visa versa. If it brings you happiness and is not hurting anyone does it really matter if you love someone who is the same sex???. I just don't understand why people are so against it, I mean their not causing anyone else any harm, and just want to love...who they love.

So I could go on, but you see where I stand, I was just wondering how you other ladies felt about this, I would be interested in hearing any one else's opinion.

Big (((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))) to all and Barb, as

I listen to Elevator Music, lol. This is the first

time I have ever really listened to it and, accckk!!,

I like it. (its the background music for the TV channel

line up; I don't care about the line up lol)

Amazing that lots of 80's, 90's and current music

can be done in that style!

love,

Cindy

p.s. for the newbies, yes, most of us have met

most on the board, and for some, many times over.

Its great!!! and we had a successful meet in

Las Vegas 2 months ago.

If you want, you can email my yahoo

cencia2000@yahoo.com and I'll send you

3 group pictures.

I agree "lighter" would have been good....and I admit to being one that was unable to keep it that way. I don't know if anyone else picked up on it, but I felt DeAnn, intentionally or not, insulted us as a group and I had a hard time not reacting to it. I also felt it was an unappropriate matter of discussion but I also feel protective of this board and my friends. If anyone was upset by anything I said, I apologize. To the members that is. Not to the person that shot spitwads at those of us that choose not to participate in a vote one way or another. Now....I'm putting my mouth down and backing out of the room. Hugs! Kay
