We met for about 45 minutes in private. He wanted all the details of what happened that day and my recollection of the jerk's tone of voice, what he said, etc. I stayed calm, even threw in a couple of humorous comments, did not cry at all, which I was afraid I would do. No decision yet, he said he's in the "information gathering" mode, not "decision making" mode yet. He's going to talk to the jerk and anyone else who heard anything, then there will be a decision in four or five days. I got NO check this week, and now there won't be one next week either. It's getting rough around here, have to use most of the money from Sarah's poor car to keep up with the bills.

I made four 40-mile round trips to our old town yesterday! Feel like an underpaid taxi driver! We went to the high school and met with the counselor to do dd's schedule. He put it all in the computer and POOF! It worked perfectly! He said that rarely happens on the first try. Maybe dd's luck is turning around, finally! Went back for my meeting, then back at 5 to take dd to work, and back once again at 9 to pick her up. This is the pits! I can hardly wait until school starts and I have to take her every day at 8:15 ! :(

Dd's senior pictures are scheduled for next Tuesday, can't wait! I used to date the owner of the studio, waaaay back in high school, so he took extra time with ds, hope he makes dd feel like a queen. She's having her hair colored and curled, taking about four outfits and having her two best friends in some pix. We're even doing a "family" session, taking Mike's urn with us to complete the scene. Hope that doesn't sound morbid, but that's the advantage of cremation, he's sitting right here in the living room! LOL!

Hope you all have a great day! It's sunny and mid 70s here, perfect weather. Doing housecleaning today, then taxi runs again tonight. Sunday, dd will work BOTH jobs, straight from one to the other. Fun, fun, fun!!!

Hugs, Pam

Maybe with all the information gathering he can see how far you were pushed before you finally had enough. This jerk shouldn't get by with this. I am in your corner girlfriend!! Sorry this is taking so long. Hugs and Love, Gabby

Pam,

Does sound like your in the taxi business. You have an advantage though, don't have to pick up strangers. LOL

I am sending positive vibes that all works out with the employment issue. Hey, maybe they can get rid of the guy and give you his job.

Senior pictures, my how they have changed. I can recall when the big thing for pix was a feather boa and a black sweater. Now, anything goes. Haveing Mike there may sound morbid to some..no problem. After all, your doing it for you and not asking them to. People need to do what makes them get though life easier. My opinion anyway.

Hugs,

Rain

I have to confess Pam, I'm not in on what the job situation is. The problem with being just a part-time lurker, miss a lot of conversation that way. Whatever is going on, I hope it works out the way you want. I know that it can be hard not having a paycheck coming in.

I like your idea of including Mike in the family picture. Don't find it morbid at all. Hugs! Kay

Pam, I'm sure once the HR person sits down and gets all the facts he will realize what a jerk the man was and reinstate you. Wanna bet you are not the only person who's had words with him? As for having the urn in the pic I think its great! You gave me a great idea of haivng JT take his pics. with my mom's urn too. They were very close and I think he would love it:) She was a very big part of his life and should be included, plus she would love it too:)

Wishing you all the best. Hugs, Bernie

The long meeting with the HR guy sounds good, especially the "information gathering" part. I just hope the jerk doesn't lie about what went on, to cover his rear! Congrats on staying calm. I doubt I would have been able to!

Wow, you're going to be putting a lot of miles on the car for a while. You need a taxi driver cap and maybe even a tip jar! LOL

The senior pics sound great. I wish we'd had so many choices, way back when. For mine, it was a Peter Pan collared white blouse. Yes, I had the lovely "wood-like" cat's eye glasses and bubble hairdo, too. Quite the pic, I must say. I keep it hidden in the deep recesses of my closet, lest anyone see it. I love the idea of Mike "being in the picture", since he's still such a big part of all of you.

Hugs,

I can't believe how long this is taking to resolve. Good grief, it's not the Spanish Inquisition! What I want to know is...if you are cleared of all this nonsense, are they going to compensate you at all for lost wages? they should!!!!

I'm with you Red! This seems like a fairly simple matter to be strung out for so long!! This isn't a major corporate decision!!

Pam, you are in my thoughts. I do hope all turns out the way you want. Let us know what the final decision is. I do hope they compensate you for all this lost time. Withholding your pay this long sure sounds questionable to me!

Wishing you well! Hugs!

HI Pam

Wishing you good luck with this job situation and hoping something happens quickly. Hang in there with the driving at least it will not be something you will have to do for an entire year.

Love

Mary

Pam you hang in there because I am sure everything will be straightend out. When it is I hope they give you back pay for all this hassle. I have a feeling things are going to work out in you favor.

Hey take Mike where ever you want including the photograpy studio. I am sure he enjoys the things you are doing with him even though he is busy with Arnold and the gang on the best green there is.

Hugs, Ruthie
