If I still had a smashing figure I would. Well, maybe a modified low-cut. Oh heck, probably not 'cause even if I had the figure to wear one and did, I'd embarrass my grandkids. Embarrassing their mothers was just fun, but not my dear grandchildren.
However, in the early 70's I had this very slinky, black velvet dress with a gold & rhinestone braid that decorated the neckline that plunged halfway to my belly button. Loved that dress! However, even in peak condition I just couldn't bare that much skin so I always wore it with a safety pin holding that deep "V" together about halfway up. But, I did wear it with a push up bra...straight from Fredricks of Hollywood...and that definitely put a bit of a strut in my swagger! You see, being one of those people that wasn't terribly blessed in the upper region because of the family gene pool I splashed around in, that clevage went right to my head! To this day I can always get my roommates attention by just casualing asking, "Do you remember that black velvet dress I used to have?" The man was a sucker for velvet! LOL! Hugs! Kay

Kay, you were lucky. My gene pool was, well, zaftig comes to mind. At 13, I was in a 36C, for crying out loud! Can you imagine what it was like to have a figure like that, and have NOT A CLUE (I was really, truly naive)! No low cuts for me, I was too embarrassed about having "those things" until I was way into my 20's!! ROTFL
If I only knew then what I know now......

Interesting question. have never been into low cut anything for regular attire. Was a gogo dancer at one time tho. You know the kind, fringe everywhere and an out of the way platform to dance on. Kind of like Goldie on Laugh In. Oops, really showing my age now, or maybe saw it in reruns. LOL Back then, pushup bra...no way. Would have looked like a chin rest. LOL
