Welcome Winger. I have a dgf, 59, who took early retirement ,losing many benefits, to live with her mother who was recently widowed. My friend has never been married so felt obligated to do this. She has 2 marrried sisters. I have advised her to make sure her sisters relieve her often. I feel this is quite an unselfish act. She had a computer at work but don't know of she does at her mom's. I'll find out. She may be someone for you to correspond with.

Good luck, it's a difficult job you're doing.

I used to take care of my Mom she is now 93. Had to move away due to a transfer in dh job. My brother takes care of her now. I don't know any single people doing that difficult job sorry.

Take good care and find someone to give you a break once in a while it really helps.

Hugs

Mary

Hi and welcome! I am an only, my mom is 80. Luckily she is still on her own, but she is slowly quickly. I will be the one taking care of her. I am lucky enough to have my dh and ds who are great about wanting to help. It's so hard when there are no siblings to share this with. Hugs, Gabby
