I need a hug!

I am feeling so totally overwhelmed right now. My garage is a mess...everything shoved to one end so that you can't walk around down there. The other end is a construction zone, partially built, partially painted. My kitchen is a disaster area. I've started taking kitchen cabinets down which not only makes it so that all the things that were in the cabinets are now piled in other places, but also, I'm having to face all that black moldy stuff behind them. The bathroom is falling apart too. And on top of all that, the dogs knocked a hole in the fence in one spot and dug a hole under the fence in another. So instead of coming home after work and relaxing a bit, I was out there stapling chicken wire along the section of fence they dug under. It probably won't do any good. Now that they've realized the effect of actually making the hole go from one side of the fence to the other, they'll probably do it anywhere along there. It doesn't help that the fence is totally rotting away and a small kitten could knock the fence pieces off by rubbing against them. Boy, some days I just feel like everything is falling apart around me and I can't even begin to catch up, much less get ahead. I'm feeling very sorry for myself today!

There, there Kitty Kat (as I am hugging you and patting you on the back), it's all going to be ok. I can see why you are overwhelomed right now, alot going on at your house, but just do one thing at a time and before you know it, it'll be done. Do first what is bothering you the most and get it out of the way. Big Hugs, Gabby

Kat, you will be okay. Just prioritize and do one project

at a time. No real rush, right?

love,

Cindy

Kat,

Gentle hugs, warm hugs, bear hugs, caring hugs all on there way along with a shoulder to cry on if you like. That does sound a "tad" overwhelming. You might take a saying from AA to get though this...."One Day at a Time.". Just so you remember, sometimes it's one hour at a time. If that doesn't help Kat, you might try "This to shall pass" because it surely will.

Hugs Kat and if you ever just want to whine and vent.....you do have me on yahoo.

Big hug!I remember our dog Molly. That dang dog never believed we spent money on a fence! The other ladies are right. You've gotta put blinders on and just try to do what you can each day. That can be mighty hard when it seems like everything wants your attention right now. We used a roll of fencing with metal stakes cuz it was easier then putting up wood fencing on one part of our yard for Bear and thankfully it doesn't show much. In one place where we'll need to replace fencing soon, we just ran some more of the wire fencing along our side of the wooden fence since Bear found a way into the neighbor's yard one day. Keeping house out of boxes is no fun at all. Been there and done that while remodeling our kitchen in Houston. Did think for a few days though that I should just replace the kitchen with a huge luxorious master bath and quit cooking altogether. lol Dh nixed that idea. Wonder if sprinkling something along the edge of the fence like pepper that make the dogs not want to be there would help. Again, hugs, BB

((((((kat))))))you have every rite to feel overwhelmed, thats a h-ell of a pile for one woman to face.make a list and start with the most important, you cant do everything in one day,but pick a task and finish it,start with the small and work your way up.you will start to feel an accomplishement and soon that overwhelmed feeling will go away,it would help though if you found yourself a big handsome strapping man to help you out.now that would make each effort more appealing!!am praying for one to come your way!!;o)(((hugs)))mindy

(((((((Kat)))))))) You don't deserve all this. Just take one step at a time. My mother always said, "Do the most important thing first". If all else fails, have a cosmo!!! LOL

Kat you are allowed to feel sorry for yourself... I can't say I blame you.... but enough now... you have to just look at one thing at a time not everything... only take one thing that has to be fixed and concentrate on that. This is how I try to stop myself from being overwhelmed!

Sorry it all seems to come at one time!

Hugs Lor
