Been crazy busy...I have another small job now...this one is for Foster Grant doing sunglasses, reading glasses and jewelry at the same store I do Hallmark in. Gee, that makes 3 companies I do this stuff for....plus during school I sub wherever they need me.

Planning to go to see dd, dsil, and that gorgeous new grandbaby this weekend! Also bringing great-gramma with us, as my mom will be here for a visit. She's pretty excited too to meet this new family member. DD says Bree has grown 2 1/2 " and gained over 1# in the last 2 weeks. I like to hear this since she said that at the WIC visit they told her Bree was too small. Good grief! She's nursing and doing a wonderful job caring for her baby. Dsil is also working out of town during the week so dd is on her own and bored, bored, hot, hot! The temps in Wyo have hovered around 100most of the summer! Way too hot for this high altitude!

Also getting ds17 and dd15 ready for school which starts 8-27 (seems late to me), but they both start practices this week and next week. Ds will manage the football team again with no plans to screw up and not finish the season, like last year! Dd is on the girls' swim team as one of two incoming freshmen. We hope she will have a great 1st hi

school season. Our team is small but mighty and the fans are VERY loud!

I've been dealing with anxiety over our financial situation which is about the same. We have decided to file bankruptcy and are filling out the papers for that. It's very hard on me to do it--I feel like I'm a failure at not managing our money better, even tho' I know I did the best I could with all our circumstances. Dh seems to want it all to magically happen...he doesn't even do any of the paperwork....I think he's not dealing with the situation by not admitting to the work involved.

I keep my prayers going and try not to obsess over things. I know that God is working here. I have a poem about a weaver and how we live looking up at the bottom of our life's tapestry so we can't see the beauty until we pass over to the other side. Gotta find that one again.

You all are in my prayers and thoughts. Welcome to the newbies and know you've found an amazing board!

Hugs all around,

Kathie

HI Kathie

You are one busy lady as always. Now don't stress so much and do what you must to get that family of yours back on its feet. We all do what we have to when things happen we cannot control.

You take good care and remember you are doing a great job. Give that little grandbaby a big hug and just enjoy her this weekend. I heard it has been very hot there sure hope it cools down soon.

Love and Hugs

Mary

Glad you will see Bree this weekend; so sweet! About Filing for

bkk, in your situation I think you should and you should not

feel terrible about it.

I have friends who lost jobs and filed as a result. You have done

what you can to avoid it, it is lawful, and because it is lawful,

God will be on your side. Its not the end of the world, as my

friends who filed have a great financial life now.

And I heard that it is super easy. They said that you just

fill out forms, go to the 341 meeting, and 2 mos later you

get your discharge papers. Well, basically they said that is

what it amounts to.

Let us know how your visit with Bree and the family goes.

and thanks again for your prayers for my Levin.

love,

Cindy

Kathie, I am so sorry to hear that you are under the stress of the financial stuff.. tough isn't it! You did not do wrong or fail it is the way things are now adays.. times are for sure tough. I know this is hard on you but knowing that you did all you could is a good thing. Hold onto that thought please!

Oh I bet you will have so much fun with little Bree! Give her lots of Grandma kisses and hugs. I can bet your mom is excited to be going to meet her! Tell your dd not to worry if Bree is not gaining all the time... they go through growing spurts and as long as she is gaining she probably will be just fine. Sometimes they make you feel like they ought to be gaining all the time.. I don't believe my kids gained all the time even as new borns... they would gain lots some weeks and less other weeks.

Have a super time there.

Hey glad to hear you got another job for FG this time... that is so good!

Hugs, Lor

(((kathie))))))there are many people that are also filing bankruptcy, your not alone and your not a failure, our system, our govenrment is failing its people,by allowing things here to escalate where an average person becomes a poor one, unable to even support their family.but thats the way our country is going, and i blame all these politicians for allowing it to happen.you have one brite star though, and thats your family, and im sure you will survive,we can only do our best!!(((hugs)))mindy

Sounds like your life is as full as ever, Kathie. I'm sorry the financial situation hasn't eased up for you. No one can say that you haven't given 150% though. There just comes a time when you have to find another way out. I'm sure that you're dh is having a hard time dealing with this too and doing the "if I don't do anything about it, it isn't really happening" routine. I hope that this helps and that things go more smoothly from here on out.
