Hey everyone I was enjoying the sunshine today out on front porch, and I have been trying to come up with something special to do for my hubby's birthday. He has been great to me, always the calm to my storms(a lot of those with son in Iraq) and keeps me laughing. He is just a super guy, adopted my kids when we were married for a couple of years. We have been together 18 years now. I'm older than him and he always makes me feel young and beautiful. Enough of the mush. I would like some suggestions on something unique to do for him. We will be at the beach on the SC coast for a few days and I want to come up with something to rock his world!! Help ladies, I'm drawing a blank, I need help!!! Hope to hear some feed back soon. Not a lot of help here either... but wondering what does he have for hobbies? Maybe you can get him something to do with one of his hobbies.

Men are the hardest to buy for I think... or my dh sure is... it is our anniversary

tomorrow and I still have not found anything for him!

good luck on finding him something!

Hugs, Lor

Since you're going to be at the beach, would a sunset cruise be available to do or does he like to fish, maybe a deep sea fishing excursion? Or are any musical groups performing in the area? I guess I'd probably build on something that is there and not usually available to y'all. Dh and I would probably love just going for crabs and a walk along the beach. Congrats. My dh is just a tad younger than I am (lol our running joke is that he was younger when we married but that I'm much younger now!). He too adopted my ds when he was small too. Have a great time no matter what you come up with. Hugs, BB

Sherry,

Since I can be a tad "different", here's my thought. Weather permiting take a spray bottle and food coloring. Early on that day in the sand in front you could write "Even the sands of time will never wash away my love". Or something personal to you. I like quirky things that leave memories.

Good luck and confratulations.
