It hasn't been a bad week because my doctor left on Wednesday and won't be back until next Thursday. So I have had a lot of time to catch up on a lot of things here without the stress of stuff going on at the same time. I also made a big decision last night. I am giving up the evening job. It will be hard to do without that income but I really want that time in my life back. Even more than the time factor was the fact that I am just not a good lab person anymore. I jsut can't keep the skills up going in for a few hours a couple days a week, especially since more often than not, not much happens during that time. I have never had a job before where I haven't been one of the better employees. Over there I feel like a really lame duck. NOT a good feeling. I have told myself that if I'm not going to work that job, I need to put in a couple hours every evening on some craft or other with the idea of trying to sell things at craft fairs this fall or whenever. I'd like to get back into that and see if there are any of the things that I do that might sell. Even though I wouldn't begin to make the money I get at the hospital, there would certainly be a lot more satisfaction in it.
Just found out that our Physician's Assistant here at the clinic may be deployed to Iraq in a couple of months. He's married with 2 or 3 children. That is so hard.
I hope things are going pretty well for everyone now.

Hope you have a great weekend. Sorry to her about the Dr going to Iraq a very hard thing when you have to leave family behind.

Glad you aren't having to bad a week. Sounds like you could use some "me" time and crafts might just be it. Seems people are constantly looking for handmade items. Find your niche and go for it. You never know what will happen.
Children at home and dad leaving for Iraq, sad for the entire family I think. Best wishes and prayers go with him. Also for everyone there.
Hugs,
Rain
