is the worse for it! Gotta get busy and work on the spots she left me. She's still in pain, I can tell, her hips or legs aren't working well. The time is coming....

Dd is at work, Taco Bell, she just called, working till 5 instead of 3 as originally thought. I expected that! It's nice, I can get a lot done. Since she can't drive, we're spending WAAAY too much time together! LOL! I recruited ds to help get her around when I start the new job next week. The logistics are going to be a nightmare until we move!

Ds got some sobering news yesterday. A friend of his wrecked his Viper Friday, the passenger was killed. Turns out he worked in ds's office. Only 27, apparently not well liked, but gave ds pause for thought. Don't know how the driver is yet, haven't seen anything in the paper about his condition. So sad, a waste of a young life.

Hope you all have a super day! It's beautiful here, mid 70s and sunny, dcat is having his sunbath right next to me!

Hugs, Pam

First of all congrats on the new job, Pam. I hope this is an upward trend for you!

It sounds like we're going through the same thing with our dogs. Saba (Lab mix)is now 14 and needs help standing up half the time. She lost 10 pounds this past year! She too had an accident all over the living room rug last week. I blame myself for not insisting she go outside earlier. She hates to stand up so I let her lie. I'm sure you too are dreading "THE" day! This is the best dog we've ever had and it breaks my heart to have to say goodbye to her but I know the day will come and too soon.

So sorry about ds' friend. My nephew was in a car accident in June. Both he and a friend were thrown from the car. His friend was killed, my nephew miraculously survived and is doing great now. The driver was not injured but hurting emotionally. All so sad.

Enjoy the cooler temps.

Hugs, Darby

HI Pam

I am sure glad Goldie is better today and I know she is getting old but as long as she is not in too much pain then she will be around for a while.

I am sorry to hear about the young man but sometimes it take something like this to make them stop and realize that they are not immortal.

Enjoy that beautiful weather.

Sure hope things work out so ds can help you alot taking dd to work and school

Love ya

Mary

Happy to hear your "golden girl" is doing better Pam. It is so sad when we know that the time is drawing near for them. Just keep loving her like you do.

This is the first I have had a chance to post in a week or two so wanted to congratulate you on the new job! WTG!! You must be very excited about the new place and only too happy to leave the other one behind you.

Hugs, Ruthie

Pam, glad Goldie is doing better. It's so hard to see them in pain. Good luck cleaning that carpet, and also with getting dd back and forth to work. Do you have to drive her to school when it starts? Alot of driving, I know the feeling. So sorry about ds friend's accident. There have been way too many tragic accidents lately. We've had a number of fatal car and boat accidents in the state, thankfully, no one I know, but it's still so sad. Take care and let us know how the job goes (when do you start?). Charlie
