My old gang from the pharmacy had a picnic last night, it was a fun time. Gosh, I miss those guys, even though I see them when I go in the store now and then. I'm considering calling HR and saying "when can I go back to work?" What do you think? Still scanning the ads though, and thinking about the tux job, depends on the money. But SOME paycheck is better than NO paycheck. I'm so torn!
It's dd's last day of "summer", school starts tomorrow. She's excited about being back with all her old friends, but nervous too since she wasn't there last year. She has to re-take 11th grade history and worried she won't know anyone in her class. Of course they've all compared schedules already and a couple of her friends are in one or two of her classes. I know she'll be fine.
Errands to run today, not much else going on. Have a good one, everybody!!!
Hugs, Pam

I am sure Sarah will be fine and fit right back in at school.
Enjoy your day

Keeping things crossed here that one of those two buy. Have to say...kind of makes my eyes hurt though so better sell fast. LOL
Agree with you, think your dd will be fine also. First days back to school are always a tad scary. Being gone a year only adds to that. She will find her niche though. One of mom's expressions, whice I detested by the way was.."Your young, you'll adjust". Grrrrr! She was right as much as I hate to admit it.
Don't know what to think about the job problem, maybe you could return to the old one. Nice that you had a good time with the old crew.
Take care,
Rain

I bet it is exciting for your dd... and can undertand why she woudl be nervous... but that will change in about a week of being there.
Hugs, Lor
I'm surprised you haven't heard anything about your job yet! What's with them, anyway? I thought they were going to let you know a couple of weeks ago.
I hope school goes well for Sarah! I remember how scary it was, on the first day back.

I'll be sending lots of positive vibes to your dd. She has made such a turn around. You must be very proud of her. It's so hard at that age to see all that you've accomplished...much easier to see the mistakes you've made. But it sounds like she's moving forward like a trooper. Hope school goes well for her...even history. My daughter hated history! Never could understand why anyone would want to learn about a bunch of dead people. The fact that history is a colorful tapestry of all that has made us what we are today was completely lost on her. Oh well.
Good luck to you both...job, condo, school...got all fingers crossed (which is making it really hard to type!)
