The Day Has Arrived

Yes, today I have to go back to work.  I've been off for three weeks now and am getting very use to it.  I've enjoyed every minute and am not looking forward to going in to the office.  I've been crunching the numbers and still don't feel comfortable about retiring yet.  So, I guess I'll have to just suffer through it and get a move on.  Right now I'm shooting for "by the end of the year."

It's extremely foggy around here again today.  Yesterday there was a huge traffic accident, near Madison, caused by the fog.  One report I heard was that it was five miles of cars, three people died, and many were injured, some of whom have life threatening injuries.  I'm glad I was able to stay home all day.  I'll have to take it easy on the way to work this morning.

Thank you all for the birthday greetings here on the board and also the e-cards that I received.  It helped to make my birthday a very special day this year.

Hope you all are feeling fine and doing well.  Have a great day!

It would be great if you could retire by the end of the year.

I'm a little late on this one..but it strikes a chord with me....

I have to get up and fo to work today and I am retired! LOL

Even tho I retired from teaching fulltime in 2004, I keep working at various positions...subbing, mentoring, tutoring, etc

currently it is supervising a new Spanish teacher..that ends Jan 25

I don't feel like going right now, but I know once I get there I will be ok

as for crunching #'s....I did it....I thought I had it...but this new house changes the financial landscape!

and we have freezing rain this morning!
